P.S. The heat in so cal is ridiculous. My A/C is struggling right now.

How do you read your room temps?

meter has been acting like it was accurate (proper inside/outside temp variance) for the past couple days until today.

I put more reflectix material on the piece of wall by the air conditioner and lowered the light. After I did this the meter reads both inside and outside air 82.6*

There is no way a 4x7x8 closet with a 10000 btu rated AC in it is 82*.

I don't know what changed... I did move the temp meter around and maybe its reading reflection of light or something?? LOL who knows.

I have a 2000xl myself. Dig and collect to the fullest..PNC in Long Beach gets actual seeds from The Cali Connection. As for clones, different places have different things. PM me, maybe I can help :cool0041:

EDIT - I like negative pressure in my rooms... But I had the foam wall piece on WAY to tight and was causing way more pressure than needed. Wasn't allowing the a/c to cool air. Fixed it up and we are @ 78-79* temps.

the alien og wat bred to add mass trichs and frost to the OG kush is wat swerve has told me. for the collective its great as a medical strain in theory but only after i grow it out will i truely know. talk is cheap :evilgrin0013:

ya i cant wait for it to cool down. funny i grew up in OC my whole life goin to the beach and loving the heat. now i grow for a living and the weather affects my productivity so i prefer cooler temps

i have digi thermometers all over my rooms. usually 2-3 in veg (mothers, clones, drying racks, and veg table)
and i have 2 in my flwoer room.
one is for room temp and the other is put at the canopy of the plants. the digi has a long small cord with a 1" metal tip that measures the temp where placed.

glad u fixed ur AC temp problem. im working on adjusting my room this week when i get a chance to max cooling capacity with wat im running. im breakin down my rooms in a couple months anyways and moving it all to the warehouse grow. so im not gonna invest anymore money in small ACs for the veg room. guess theyll have to suffer with the rest of us. lol

Whats good farmers....

Some of the ladies are starting to perk up and lift leaves, some are still drooped. I have been reading a lot and it seems certain bubbas are very slow veggers.. hopefully thats what this is! :smoke

A little yellow, I haven't been watering due too being over watered. I give a light foliar feed of superthrive, liquid karma and wet betty right before lights on. I will give them a nice feed tomorrow, hopefully some green comes back!

Pic 1 - Got a new skinny fan that pushes WAY more air, temps in the room dropped a little more. I like this fan in the fact that it pushes a constant wall of air rather than a chopped up circle like my old fan.

Pic 2 - This lady is starting to take off... thank god.

Pic 3 - You can see some are still drooped, some taking off.

If any one has any input, advice, knowledge etc. please share so we ALL can grow :rasta2:

Stay blessed!:bongsmi:

how many days have u been in veg? from clone right?

and a suggestion with foliar feeding, spray a few hours before lights on at least. this way they have time to dry and no droplets remain to magnify and burn foliage. hope it helps.

4th day of veg today.

From clones, came in small cubes (like in the first pictures), white roots showing. Placed them in coco wens., my boy watered them with 3.5 gallons of a 380-400 PPM mixture that day (water was warmer than I wanted to water with also. I didn't do a temp check. I've read that it's really good to water with colder water for transplanting. Helps with shock)

It seems like they have become more yellowish since transplant... the stalks aren't slumped so I know I'm still good. Trying to get coco down.

I'll most def. start foliar feeding earlier into dark. Much appreciated.

Stay blessed, have a happy monday brotha.

EDIT - Next time I will get more ladies, put them in red party cups and pick only the best. :boogie:

4th day of veg is still early for a transplant to take off. my laides go from 1" RW cuttign cubes then put into 6" RW cubes for veg and the transplant shock usually takes a few days to a week before they recover and take off. superthrive is good stuff i use it a little in my rez for feeding. if u think uve overwatered i would let it dry out and recover. a foliar feed uptakes nutes, water, faster then the roots so maybe bak off that for now?
the yellowin is a nitrogen deficiency most likely.
im sure theyll pik up soon this week

oh and the water temps are important. i havent picked up any chillers yet but the water temp should b 66-68 but mine gets up to 78 easy cuz the room temp. colder water holds more 02 for better nute uptake.

boomer -

That's what I figured and felt like I was over thinking it. New light, new home and overwatering is cause for some shock.

Yup, jackmayoffer swears on the rez temps so I put RO'd ice cubes in my mix bucket until it hits 68*.

haha that works too. i was gonna freeze 2liter bottles to chill mine down sum but i got 2x70gal and 1x30gall and my freezer is already full. so time to upgrade and get sum chillers for me lol. anyways ill be lurkin bro keep it up

boomer - Make that room in the freezer G! Is it a long wait for the chillers?

Took some macro pics of the ladies today....

Pic 1 - the room.

Pic 2 - The leaves on this lady are starting to curl down and it looks like a little light bleaching/burn on one of the leaves. I raised the light, still haven't fed/watered. Coco is definitely different than a timed hydro system or soil (both of which I have done). No other ladies show signs of the drooped tips.

Pic 3 - I love the bubba looking pheno :inlove Still an OG head till I'm dead though...

Thank you to everyone who takes time to stop by and look around, say hi, or help! Appreciated most and stay blessed people!

Cali,

P.S. Finally some cool weather.

I will get a couple with out the HPS in a bit my dude :cool0010:

4x7x8 closet.

The cooler days are much better. It's much more tropic weather though.

im most likely grabbin the chillers this week. jsut waiting for a quote on cost

Here are pics out of the room and HPS... they don't look as yellow as they seem.

The coco was starting to really dry out on all of them so I gave a small watering with mild nutes (roots excel, hygrozyme, liquid karma, magical, sensi a+B and some b vitamins) @ about 500 PPMS and 68* water. PH 5.8

What up gangstas :character0035:

I have been every where looking for info, reading up and learning about coco. Very interesting medium to work with indeed. It's funny because about half use soil regiments and half use hydro regiments. Talk about ass backwards.

We also need more input on our Coco Coir forum here... disappointed in how little info was there. I'll help fix that :lock:

Anyways the ladies are starting to pick up and look much better... slowly.

The issue @ the beginning was the first feed was way too much water and nutes. Next time will be less water + nutes for the transplant. Because they were over watered, I waited a couple days to feed again and that's not optimum with coco. You want to feed as much as possible as the medium it's self doesn't hold nutes very long at all (WHY IT SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE HYDRO!!) The more it's cut or blended, the more it drains and the more it needs to be fed.

Also, the 1k was too low and gave a little light burn @ the beginning. I will harden off babies under T-5's for a week or two before putting them under any sort of intense light.

All of this coupled with freshly transplanted babies and it's gonna cause some stress!

Raised light, modifying feed schedule and getting back on track!

**I also read that bubba's like some what of a colder environment (70-75*).. gonna cut back the day temp a bit and see if this makes any difference.

I'm not working with partners anymore so this is a learning experience in it's self!

yeah, chillers break the bank.

if you are handwatering a closet it can be done with the frozen 2liter method. just get your RO in a rez, mix nutes, let it get cold (get a thermo that reads water) and your good to go. But using the frozen bottles to cool a hydro rez is way too much work. maybe if you have a big freezer(4ftx2ft flip top style) just for doing it youd be set.

smallest chiller at the hydro shop, 1/4 hp i believe, is $420 and then you have to buy a pump for it, so you are looking at around $500 out the door, and you need one for each res!

I was having some technical difficulties with my camera... all is good in the hood now :character0035:

The ladies are greening up and starting to take off bit by bit.

I have 3/4 runts out of the pack that more than likely will get replaced in the next days with the same strain or pre 98 bubba / platinum bubba (what ever is more mature @ the time)

Still getting coco dialed in.

Stay blessed farmers! :animbong:
