The following just reconfirms my personal distaste with all things electrical... I mean would it kill them to give a couple more diagrams? instead of all the verbiage lol

I love this statement at the end "Herewith the limit switch system has been adjusted"

The overhead curtain is installed. Starting on remaining light traps and controls.

I once said this Svensson fabric seemed fragile.... couldn't have been more wrong, this stuff is tuff.... clever Swedes

Drive train

Curtain fully retracted (manually)

Looking good bubba. That whole setup has been a lot of work but will pay off.
I'm still interested in seeing just how dark it will get in their light leek and all. Or will hermie's not be an issue.

I don't think hermies will be an issue, but I think it's gonna be pretty black in there anyways - we'll know tomorrow once the endwalls are blacked out and the curtain closure light traps are installed.

It's a very nice design. Takes a lot of labor to install it, but I bet it lasts really well. And you could reload new curtain pretty easy when it's time

Not sure if you can tell from the pictures, but I like to wrap the plants, and also put at least one cap on the netting as well. Some boxes I put two caps, one at about 8' and another at 13'.

Got the motor powered up through the local control box so I can open it manually through the controller. Learned something though.... fucker will straighten out the hooks on a pulley and snatch it loose from the steel and never miss a stride if a cable binds for some reason. It's fused, but the motor is sized to drive at least 12 bays the size of my whole greenhouse.... that's good and bad

West wall is blacked out. 1/2 way done on East Wall then the light traps at the bottom of the curtains, which is easy peasy if my idea works, then I'll install the controller and hopefully figure out the motor limit switches so I don't destroy everything in a stoned moment.... which is every moment you know

Have the plants shown signs of flowering yet? Gonna set it for 12/12 or add a little extra daylight? Looks amazing, a fully engineered growing machine. How are the Blumats holding up? Read something about building up crud at the drippers, but that might be operator error.

Thanks bro, you got some blood and sweat in it too :-). About 1/2 are flowering. The Loompa gear both yeti and foo dog are well into flower. They're all stretching.. I ain't taller than a single plant anymore and the Yeti has got to be 9'.

I'm thinking a straight 12/12 this run. Blumats are awesome... have to adjust them every so often as the plant grows. I had planned to put 2 Blumats in each 45g pot, but they seem to draw enough from one atm, we'll see when the buds start putting on weight.

Almost done with East wall blackout - pita as this wall has all the equipment hung on it

Yeeehaaaaa!!!

I claim victory :-)

I still have left to do:
1 sidewall light traps, but that's the easiet area to put a light trap.
2 light leak sealing party, but won't be much
3 integrating the controller and figuring out the limit switches
4 OCD tweaking on it for rest of my natural born days

But it seals pretty dark as it is. I'm stoked that I didn't waste the money on something that wont work. This design is commercial and solid as hell...

Worked till dark on it so not a completely fair test but here's a couple pics

It takes exactly 5 minutes to open/close it. Stately

With Flash - this is the closure joint

Without flash hehe

Sidewall light leak (pre trap install)

Get ready for some insane bud porn.

Wow hats off great work and engineering for that baby. One of the best threads for learning. Thx for documenting the steps.... Been dreaming of something like this caddy greenhouse for awhile, nice to see it "done right the first time" as my grandpa would say. :)

The light seal is impressive. When people talk about greenhouse product matching indoor quality this is how it's done ;)

Looking good Bubba. Not to be a dick but watch out that the green soft tie does not cut off nutrient supply up the stems. I run into that a lot.
