Bud rot or paranoid grower?

New to this. First harvest of an unknown strain. Is this bud rot? Thanks for helping me learn.

Looks like a purple bud to me. Can you crumble it apart easily when wet? Or crumble to dust when dry? If not, you're paranoid grower.

Thanks for the fast replies. Guess I was Growingparanoia. This was a pretty uncontrolled grow. It was an all weather porch plant that seemed to do well. Starting my indoor science project now.

Thanks. It didn’t crumble when wet. It’s been drying for a few days now. I’ll test again before jarring it up.

Looks fine to me too. Likely just anthocyanins from cold dew falling on her.
For future reference, budrot starts from the inside of the bud out generally, not outside inward.
