How is the coverage since you cut it in half. Does it fit the whole 4x8 with light on the edges?
It did well with 2 bushes in there, wall to wall, I’ve scrogged it no problem, the numbers do dip a bit in the edges, but I still had solid colas equal across the plants top / sides / even lower sides, the light is still 2’x4’ on each side and at full send you’re still givin 420w to each half of the tent (4x4) so it’s pushing as much as my PL4500 can give my 4x4 and that’s a 2’x2.5’ panel , so its the same amunt of light but over 4’ of bars instead of 2.5 if that makes sense lol
So sick yeah I think I’ll just cough up the money if I get a bigger tent so I can hang whole lights in there like this one. That looks so cool

seems like they are too busy trashing this site and its owner nowadays. My brother owns a hotel here where i live and he is trying to relearn how to grow (stroke) things he has forgotten so im offering to help him through this.....been to like 4-5 sites, The budbuilders site seems like a small group of folks who have known one another a long time, certainly not strangers meeting online meeting in canna forums vibes in those threads thats for sure. My lived experience there is EVERYONE there is an expert who cannot be questioned. Being happy of great plants is neat but if i went as deep as some on these forums everytime i had a good apple or blueberry harvest they'd commit me in an asylum! I guess its just amatter of perspective and how we were brought up. Out of them all id say trustfall and this mike guy seem the most down to earth and friendly. Im going off interactions here ive read in threads. When he first came to this place YEARS and YEARS ago there was dude named natural therapy that was our go to mentor.......we miss him. Hoping for someone with his knowledgebase can step in and help please? We aint high maintenance sorta speak.....just need help once in awhile with understanding cuts lineages and or how to best use the fancy led tech, only diff between our lights are mine are fluence 600w. IDK ive never had any bad runins with logic o0r anyone here so i dont understand the litany of threads at budbuilders dedicated to slander lol. I'll need to find trustfalls next availablility and take it from there....Got the idea from an ex member steamroller
he was running 2 of them like that, I ordered it specifically because it had no internal wiring etc was able to chop the bars anywhere
Have had a ton of runs with this light bought it I think early 2022 it was the older model, but I only ran that hog at 550w max and it still gave me rock solid buds
So each side of the 4x8 was is only getting 275w
You could even cut it in 4 or 8 sections only limitation for positioning is the bar wire connector length
That’s be nuts 840w underlighting, could you imagine the yeild if it actually maxed out the lowers on every plantBut say an 8x8 or 10x10 you could lay them out in a star shape and just not use the side rails at all
