I have a ton of flying insects around where I live and I bought an old school bug zapper. After about 6 hours I have a 1/8-cup pile of dead bug carcasses. Would that make a good soil amendment? What do you think.
Like, don't dead animals decompose into fertilizer? If it's a tiny bug seems like it would not take long to decompose. And isn't carbon/ash supposed to be good for soil? These bugs get burnt to a crisp.
Just one of my many great ideas.
