**Update on "Ms 5w-30" (as I've now dubbed her, all credit goes to ComfortablyNumb for the name)**
Finally starting to show signs of hope! New growth starting to come in, most of the leaves have begun to "stand up" once again(well at least half of each leaves, many have completely fried tips now..) Slowly coming back, won't be what she was, but refuse to give up on this plant at this point lol. Baby steps! Also, don't mind the other 4 plants... They will be leaving very soon as I just helped get them started for a friend. So the focus will be back on just the one (maybe two if I get more females outta the four than expected lol) Thanks again everyone for all the advice and help!! All played a part in keeping her alive and going in some way or another!

Weird dimensions, I know lol. But I looked up the light you suggested, maybe I misread, but you wouldn't want to go stronger? Just trying to figure out if less lights that are stronger, is better than more lights with less power. Is a pretty wicked looking light tho! Would for sure be an upgrade from my Amazon bought light as well as a lot more price wise too lol. But not afraid to spend more, just wanna cover all my bases before I do ykno? Have done quite a bit of research on lighting, and by no means claim to know everything, just like to hear from people who've actually used whatever light that's suggested. Hear what they think, how the results were. I know that no matter what, it'll always be different for each grower, but still. Pretty pricey to just buy without asking questions, or maybe that's just me once again overthinking things Side note, hope you and everyone else had a good Thanksgiving!

I use more lights than I need so I can run them at a lower power level and still have the extra to really push them in flower.

Might want to keep an eye out for ball clusters at stem as that much stress would hermie any bordeline phenotype.

I had both aphids and thrips this last grow (pics here on site) and catching bugs early is the key. I Use neem then spray seven days later. Don't spray buds or close to harvest. Can spray plain water close to harvest as a rinse. Hope this helps.

Gotcha. Makes sense. Definitely think it's what I'm missing to really maximize bud size/quantity. Aside from the overall learning curve. But appreciate the info! Trying to take advantage of black Friday/cyber Monday and invest in a better light (s) if I can find any deals. Thank you!

Yea I've heard of stress causing hermies. Can that happen even with a feminized plant? Know with regular photo type seeds/plants it can happen. But didn't even consider that since its a clone off a feminized plant. Regardless, will watch for it! Definitely keeping a close eye on her for a while

Hermies mostly happen to femenized plants.

Oh man... Didn't know that. That'd be a real kick in the ass to go thru all this effort to end up with a bunch of seeded bud although, having seeds for this gene wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing I guess just gonna have to wait and see i suppose..

Femenized seeds that drop seeds just makes more seed weed. It's such a piss off. Make you insane trying to get good genetics.

The process that turns them into fems also alters them in a way that makes hermies possible.
Regs are best, but even then, Genetics mean a lot.

Yeah big time. If you got nice tasting gassy kill with no seeds from femenized seeds you have hit a homerun. Fem seeds are such a crap shoot. For me at least.

Geez... And here I thought feminized seeds were the way to go Personally have mainly only dealt with photos, so get stuck playing the waiting game.. Tried Autos a few times, but tbh I'm not really a fan. I like having the time to correct any sorta issues. This particular plant is my first go with any sorta feminized plant(was a clone) so this is all new to me lol. Glad you guys mentioned that tho! I just assumed it wouldnt have issues being a feminized plant, unless it came in contact with a pollinating male just goes to show, always something to be learned!

Probably the last update, unless any other problem decides to occur lol. Or until she's flowering... But definitely looking better after each day! Decided to do a bit of trimming.. Probably shoulda waited a little longer, but this plant has always been incredibly bushy.. making it wicked difficult getting any light through to other areas of the plant. Along with just removing all of what was clearly dead and not coming back. Definitely still have high hopes for her! Hoping the rest of this grow will be a little less hectic

**Almost forgot to mention the whole reason behind this thread but haven't noticed any sort of unwanted critters! Still keeping a close eye tho, and will definitely be looking into different methods of pest control! No more Neem... At least for this plant.. other 4 actually seemed to love it, go figure

Had almost forgotten about this post! Figured I'd share the progress now that it's been over a month. Currently, she is in her 3rd week of flower! Looking beautiful and as strong as ever. Wicked excited to see the end results, and so far is my biggest plant I've grown yet at around 5 1/2'!! Really blows my mind that it's made it this far considering how many times it looked to be too far gone. Tons of patience, time, and most importantly.. all the help from this forum! ComfortablyNumb thank you again for all the advice, was always on point and always incredibly fast with responding! Thanks again everyone! Fingers crossed she makes it to the finish line with no more issues

Figured I'd do another update! This plant still keeps on surpassing my expectations, and despite all the battles, still has grown into one of my best plants yet! I decided to try and do a "partial harvest" with this one. Despite trying my best to keep branches tied down, still ended up with quite a few that ended up taller than the rest. I also really want to get the most outta this plant that I can as I won't have anymore runs with this particular strain(none of my clones were successful unfortunately) But decided today to harvest most of the buds at the top. And so far am blown away with the outcome! So far, this is what I've harvested, what is left of the plant and some shots of the buds. This is also the first time I've gotten 3 separate buds to form on one branch, instead of just one big one. Thought that was kinda cool lol. Wicked excited to try the end results!
*Side Note* Also know I could've probably went longer with some of these buds.. unfortunately the plant had other ideas lol. Some of the branches were beginning to almost touch the light(and completely ran outta room to raise it) and also had two that had fallen over due to the weight of the buds. So I decided to just harvest those particular branches, not wanting to risk any of them becoming unsalvageable. I also know that "partial harvests" are a pretty opinionated topic. The plant could end up dying, or could continue to bulk up.. Either way, I felt it was still worth a shot. Figured, worst case, I just continue to harvest the rest of the plant. Definitely far from upset at the current state of what's left of the plant. Just curious to see if it will actually bulk up more. Only time will tell!

Take all the bottom fan leaves off, then lets have another pic.
When the plant changes to flower mode, the big fan leaves start giving up their nutes for the buds.
When they yellow, take them off.

Aphids. The white specks are shedded exoskeletons of the pupae. Dawn soapy spray will kill the aphids. Also potassium silica foliage spray will change your leaf Ph and they will starve to death. Not that bad a problem to solve.

I had issues with spider mites. A friend suggested to spray with dawn dish soap, water and alcohol 91% mix, it worked like a charm!!

Yea the fan leaves are all trimmed off for the most part. Was a pic taken as I was trimming off the top buds. I feel like I could've just chopped the entire plant down, as crazy as it may sound, feel like the top buds(ones trimmed off in pics) looked less ready than the lowers This plant continues to puzzle me lol. I'm just happy and shocked even, at the results. After it had shriveled up and almost died, I didn't expect it to even bounce back. Let alone bounce back as well as it did. But was never really about a huge harvest for this plant honestly. I just became wicked attached and just wanted to get it to live it's complete life cycle lol. Regardless of the quantity, would be happy it made it to this point. But even with that said, has so far produced the most, and biggest buds I've grown yet! Hoping the partial harvest actually pays off lol
