Just wondering how often everyone changes out their bulbs? I know theres a tool that measures the amount of light a bulb is giving out but cant remember what its called.

Bulbs are kinda cheap. I swap mine every 9 week cycle, both veg and flower

Bulbs are cheap, I swap out 6 every p weeks. Why run a used bulb for longer and sacrifice par, when I can swap them out every harvest and have no issues with light output.

I have now 35k in my grow over 4 yrs. What's few $$$ on bulbs every 9 weeks

Even the new vanquish 1k bulbs I was told 2 cycles max. To each their own, some lime creamy peanut butter, some like crunchy.

I run apollo bulbs. They are like 25.00 each, so it's a cheap investment to swap out every 9 weeks.

I use lightingever gu10 led bulbs more than one year.
Use LED bulbs save money and LED lights tend to be safer compared to extremely very hot incandescent and halogen lighting..

Bulbs have a lifespan expectancy rating. It is a good idea to follow them. New bulbs will give higher yields and a ROI

Just read the manufacturer's suggested lifespan in hours. Get Ushio bulbs and stop worrying. use older bulbs for veg if you want to go cheap and not get MH
