I have multiple 55 gal plastic barrels for water for my enclosure. I use the fox farm liquids. My question is how much of the liquid mix should be used on each plant. 1 quart per feeding, 2 etc. I use 5 gallon grow bags. I pretty much winged it last year and added 2 quarts of mix to every 2 quarts of water during watering time every other watering. I added two quart of ph adjusted water to each plant and then went back and added two quarts of liquid mix. I used 2 gallon round oil drain buckets so the plants could pull up the water that flowed through. Then once each plant absorbed all the liquid I removed the drain buckets from under the plants. The enclosure ground is covered with weed block and the grow bags are placed on top. I ended up with 4lbs from 14 plants. Back to my main question.....can I mix a barrel of liquid fertilzer all at once.?

Because the FF nutes have some organic ingredients, I'd want to be sure that the barrels were 100% light proof and the temp didn't get too high.

Generally you don't ever want to be premixing and storing your nutes. There's lots of products with warnings on their label not to do this because of decomposition and bacterial/microbial elements in play. Not to mention I've personally had screw ups grabbing the wrong premixed watering can of something and dumping it on a plant and there were consequences.

Are you speaking from experience with Fox Farm specifically?

Not Fox Farm specifically, no. But when you mix chemicals, sometimes you get reactions. Including biological ones. Unless the label says it's fine, I would ask Fox Farm.
I'm just looking for ease of operation, lol. I'll stick with the individual jugs. Thanks for the tip

Grow big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom all claim to maintain ph balance when mixed in bulk but don't account for any other occasional additives. I'll stay with what worked last year. I was just thinking lazy.

I ended up with 4lbs from 14 plants, no burns,no bugs, no mold.
