This is how I thought the thread would be too.
I'm a bit jammed today, :character0053: LOL

but I'll reach into the stash and pull a couple of nuggies out for you in the next day or two, but I hope somebody beats me to the punch.:party0036:

Thanks for the list and link dextr0.

While lists of organic nutrients and their properties are valuable resources, I was envisioning something a bit different for this thread- not that I own the thread- but what I'm looking for is the analysis and evaluation of specific products, suppliers, and materials- nuts and bolts stuff to help bridge the organic tea and/or fermentation discussions to the organic marketplace. What I don't want to do is duplicate info available at other threads or post lists that a little online search can turn up. If that's where the thread goes, you might as well kill it as far as I'm concerned.

What I'd like to know: Where are other people shopping? What are your knock out products? (And for some context), how are you using them.

Lol, my bad. I know what your thread is about, just thought i would fill in some of COCOs missing npks.
Wont happen again.

First off, I enjoy your posts and appreciate the enthusiasm and zeal you bring to organic growing. I've extracted a lot of good info from both the tea and the fermentation threads and will contribute to both once I get what I'm doing a bit more quantified - ie reconcile alchemy -bio-chemistry; science-naturalist's POV ; academic research-grow room observation. But I drift off topic which is not uncommon for me and why I can't be too critical of others w/ the same propensity. It's all cool, dextr0.

Lets all work together on this thing. Organics are good for the planet, as we know it, that is.

It might also be good to note that the ratios vary quite a bit and that the N-P-Ks will vary from brand to brand. What do you think?

Think ill go thru and just do a raw list without the #s for the peeps and see if I can get the synthetics noted. Peace bro.:harvest:
Just in case you didn't catch it-
the list that he's removing the NPK ratios from, is the same list that Dextr0 posted- the one that he copy pasted and gave props too. A change of heart over a period of a few days? I think COCO owes us all an explanation.

Why would 2 individuals who, ostensibly, are members of the organic gardening community, go out of their way to goad and antagonize another member and submarine a thread? A thread that provides a platform for organic growers to share their resources, learn about new or overlooked products, have a choice of suppliers to do business with and in all probability, save time and money to boot?

Something doesn't add up, does it?
I'll fill you in on their little circle jerk next time...

A few parting words for the kitties
1) Google keyword searches are not intellectual property. You're confusing the two.
2) You are Info Gofers- not the authority figures you've been posing as. Anyone can copy/paste links, excerpts from articles, *lists*, paraphrase others , borrow the work of others and claim opinion the opinion as their own. Get off the computer, et your hands in the dirt and come up w/ something that's your own.
3) COCO- when a hand is offered to you in friendship, don't spit on it.
4) It is obvious that neither of you are sincerely interested in participating in this thread, so don't come back. You're a pariah that's unwelcome here. If I were a mod, I'd kick both of yer azzez out of here. If you were part of the mj community I'm apart of you would've been long gone by now. You don't belong here, particularly in the organic section.
5) Be selective in choosing who yer going to fuck with.
6) Better get yer A game going on the threads you think you own. I've spent the last year researching and drilling down fermentation and teas and have some dynamic results to show for my effort. I've seen yer bodies of work and, frankly, tou two ain't shit.

[strike]Peace.[/strike]

Ganja u crazy mane. If my posts offended you im really sorry. If u have something to address in any other thread feel free to post, add, correct etc. any time. I aint here to argue or bicker. I want some of that knowledge u got up there in u mind, but aint gonna take bein talked bad to. I wont post again in u thread if u dont want, but all that other shit...hold that down.
Again I do apologize. My post was intended to be for like minded individuals who are not looking at certain things that may be a resource but could very well become one...with a found NPK list that gave in my opinion a round about way of looking at a how a product/resource can be used.

You can blow all the smoke you want just don't try blowing it up my ass because you, your tag team buddy and I know what your intent was. If you "want some of that knowledge got up there in my mind", you certainly have a peculiar way of showing it. Your only posts here have been giving props to COCO for his lists. You didn't engage me or anyone else in discussion and you apparently didn't read or heed any of my posts. If you had, we wouldn't be having this discussion and I wouldn't be resenting you for the energy drain you two have spawned.

You did get one thing right, I am crazy. A career in the Hollywood studios and traversing the world's busiest intersection to and from Topanga Canyon for 25 years can have that effect.

I've worked, smoked and joked w/ the rich and famous** and have some unique insights to share. (**Neil Young. Dennis Hopper. Jack Nicholson, Harry Dean Stanton, to name drop a few.) Most people like me and quite frankly, I'm unaccustomed to dealing w/ the defiance and lack of cooperation that you two have been laying on me.

Hard to believe, it's been a helluva long haul, but I'm legal, I know the local cops, secure and risk-reward proof. Hey AZ. Welcome! Being legal and (selectively) open may seem surreal at first, but you'll get used to it fast.

I've smoked mj for 43 years, grew weed in the "back 40" of my Topanga Canyon home for 25 years, and have been paying the bills from mj donations over the past 5. Organic growing is not just my livelihood, it's my lifestyle.

I have 3 favorite forums, (MNF and Sannies being the other 2) and after flitting about for a year, I decided that the Farm jived the best w/ my personality, had the most to offer and was the least tolerant of the b/s that plagues other forums, ie RollitUp. I still see it this way, but I think my perspective needs some adjusting.

My wife, (who prolly knows me better than I do after 40 years), cautioned me about getting too involved (ie starting a discussion thread) in a forum and wouldn't you know it, I can't get the first thread of substance that I've started to move forward and develop because I'm stuck babysitting 2 ill-mannered little boys who are launching a passive-aggressive attack on me. WTF?!!

Anyhoo. This thread has sunk- maybe someone else will pick it up or start a new one. I'm also going to take a break from the organic section for awhile. I'm not a breeder, but there's a maturity on that board that seems to be lacking here, so instead of having to fight to give away what I've learned down here, I'm going to go up there and try to learn something. Good luck.

In our area we can go to the local grain mill or the sugar beet factory ,30miles in any direction, for bulk molasses. It may be the only advantage to northern Michigan this time of the year.

Thanks Gnostic. An on topic post. I needed that. I talked my Farm Store into carrying 5 gal pails. It prolly comes from a field that you drive by every day. lol I'm still working on the manager to get the store to carry coco.

I'm not giving up on this thread just quite yet.
MODS: would it be possible to remove all of the extraneous OT bullshit ? (especially my own!) It would be nice to sanitize the thread and get the topic back on point. Thanks.

GanjaGardener,

Quantum Growth, It used to be called Inoculaid (i think if it's the same stuff)

I thought it was a local product only. I picked mine up at Ace, it came with a pamphlet with a local number for information and ordering. When I emailed the addy on the brochure asking about the sub-species of inoculate in their product all I received was a generated response asking me to call a 1-866 number.

I Put it in a five gallon bucket with some blackstrap molasses and an airstone in about two days I saw it had made a nice swirly biomass which I feed to my soil-less containers. The results are still growing however, it seemed like the next day my bud sites doubled.

I still would like to know what exactly is in there. I have other dry fertilizers I use, all with different strains / subspecies of bacteria and fungus, If the Quantum has all the same stuff as Happy Frog fruit and flower I could stop buying it. (only reason why I buy the HFFF is for the beny's)

WTF Ganja Gardener? Where the f is all this negative bullshit coming from? Unbelievable. This is how you treat people you befriend? I personally put that list together which took me months and hundreds of hours of research to if anything add a raw source/derivative resource list. I would offer my apologies if you had not been such a dick so im kickin your ass to the curb and will no longer contribute to your posts..

This dude has issues...:sign0065:

+1

the lady at our local nursery says "plant people are weird" but this guy takes the cake.

COCO and Dex did nothing in the way of hijacking your thread. I saw a contribution. It may have not been the contribution you were looking for, yet they were here to help.

Looks to me, that if your tail feathers get so easily ruffled by others not posting the appropriate material in YOUR thread, you should post a BLOG.

I don't normally get in the middle of these things, but dude, your wrong.

I emailed info@ greenearthag.com over a month ago and don't even think a got a responder back. It was avail. online 6 mos ago- the company site had a redirect to a retailer but it looks like they changed policy. The fact that you found it at Ace is encouraging. They do keep their formula buttoned up, that's for sure.
FoxFarm isn't my favorite, but it's a great product for the GP- a heck of a lot better than 90% of what's out there. I too, use some of their products from time to time.

Ganja,

Sorry about the post. open mouth insert foot. see, that's why I don't get in the middle of these things.

Any hoo.... Looks like Quantum Growth is made by Ecological Laboratories Inc.... I just found their site where they talk about Microbe-Lift, and Pro-Pump their other lines of bacteria solutions. ones for the septic system and ones for outdoor ponds. ( guess which one is made for ponds ) neither web site says anything about Quantum, but the ML site has agricultural solutions.
