OG Kush x Trainwreck #2 update

Starting week 6 in 12/12. She is going to be here a while I think. Lol.

Gotta give a week for the bend and tie down after week 1 and maybe some time for all the supercropped branches.

None of that even slowed her for more than a couple hours. :-)

Here is the top view of OGK x TR 2

Pair of Critical Mass x Blue Lemon Thai growing fast. One is in Ocean Forest with about 25% added large perlite and the other is in a new soil I’m trying from my local store Mothers Earth Groundswell. It is very similar to OF but uses 2 kinds of lime like pro mix instead of oyster shell and a few differing ingredients. But the same amount of perlite out of the bag as I mix in. So far the new pants are neck and neck. The flash lightened some upper leaves in the pic.

OGK x TR 1 all twisty and angry looking. I am tapering her nutes off now. She has been a bit picky through transition.

Here that soil I mentioned above. The ocean forest mix is in the 3 gallon pot. The new Mother Earth stuff loose in the bin straight from the bag. I did break up clumps like I would OF and re mix some.

Well the over fed plant I posted above had a nanner outbreak. Quite a few little ones hiding in the folds of half the top buds.

I picked them off and leached her pot with a gallon of fresh water and then fed a 50% nute dose also to excessive runoff.

Her leaves have softened and straightened and I see no nanners for 2 days now.

Not mentioned for some reason when the subject comes up but overfeeding elite type strains especially with sour diesel and Thai genetics can stress them enough to reverse.

I believe many of the nanner threads had this cause.

The sour hermie pie sure did turn out nice.. It's had about a two week cure on it now and I like it... it really reminds me of sour diesel.. no nanners at all. I'm running it again.. I'll flip these in a week or so.

Last week we harvested this monster OG Kush x Trainwreck.

The top half was done but the lowers needed some more time.

We dont do this often but we selective harvested her and put the lower half back in the growroom.

1st half went 12 weeks.

Upper branches harvested. Spreading out lowers. So many branches cut and so many left.

I trimmed the first half last night. Im sorry I forget who wanted the harvest weight but the first half was 4.3 oz. dense frosty nugs. Potent like ghost train haze. Which has very similar genetics.

And here she is re supported for further ripening.

I love growing weed!

Heres some 3 month cured Blue Lemon Thai. Really up happy productive high for work time.

If you can tolerate 20+% weed and still pay attention. Helps me focus and takes away much pain.

I am putting an offer in on a house on Tuesday. Time to move. I love the place (pool and 2 car garage and beauty) and in the finished basement the seamstress has built an 8 x 8 room where the electrial panel is.....

With doors on it i can lock....

It was like a light shone from heaven as i turned the corner.

I hope we get it.

This is tent 2. Switched to flower this morning. 24-0 veg and it is about 8 inches tall.

GG4 and King tut (left right). Crazy how short they stay. I like a 24 hour veg when you have a height limitation.

But I bet they stretch good in flower :D

Today I got the house. Take it over April 1. And there was an even better weird room under the stairs. It starts off 4 x 8 or so and then bends right a long way at 8 feet wide.

It is only 5 foot 6 high. I already have two 5 foot 3 tents and lights for a lot more so i will get 2 more 2 x 4 tents and run 4 in 4 forever. :D

I will run a 15 amp circuit and GFI plugs to run everything

With all lights and extraction fans on for all 4 tents it will pull 8.2 amps which is good enough for me.

Alright here is the second half harvest of the huge og kush x trainwreck i have been posting.

Selective harvest worked great! All the small and underdeveloped lowers hidden deep in the canopy have now matured into quality flower.

What a mess of stakes and soft tie wire.

All untied and unravelled. (Flash used)

(No flash)

Closer up (with flash)

Top half did over a qp. Looks like more bud on the bottom half. Will report next week when ready for jars.

Thanks man. I really just bend and tie the main stem down and brace it from the other side of the pot by week 2 of 12/12. Then just manage the branching that results. Stakes and soft tie as needed. And super cropping the real stretchers. Pretty easy and every plant stays 30” or less over the pots. Perfect height for the 600’s to grow bud all the way down.

I use the same technique. These are 6-7 feet tall. In 20 gallon pots. Week 5.
