I would not buy the cheap piece of shit tents from ebay. Way more trouble than theyre worth.If your gonna get one, get a high end one. The cheap ones have light leaks everywhere, rip at the seams and are just a pain in the ass!
are you using these for lightpoof closures? working well?those magnetic door screens that split in half for $15 at CVS/Target.
great link, and $1.50/linear ft seems quite reasonable. could gorilla tape(or better) the seams instead of sewing and still build a much better diy than store-bought, plus to your custom specs..If you decide to build here is a link to growtent canvas material you can buy to build your own,stuff is actually cheaper than some of the other reflective materials.

A 1k would work great in a 4x6 tent. Even 2 600's if you want better coverage.
