Buying New Light, Need Some Advice

I have 3 Mephisto Genetics Autos going right now and currently I have a sf2000 pro with the Evo lights. It's 200watts. The plants are still small but I know I need more for flower. I have a 2x4 tent. I was thinking spider farmer 320 watt bar style with Evo diodes. Is that big enough or should I get 400 watts? Any help is appreciated

I think of the energy bill. A 200w should be able to get the job done... but canopy management is gonna be a lot easier with more power. It's not just the lighted square footage. It's also the amount of vertical space where "good" levels of light can be provided to the plant, and the lower the wattage the narrower that vertical space is and closer to the light is where it exists. Light planning is a 3D exercise.

320 is plenty

HLG Diablo 220. I have the 350 and it's a bit more then I really need in a 3x2. Plus the 220 has a removable driver.

I ended up adding an sf1000 with the EVO diodes. 300 watts total now. Its been working great at 100% @ about 12-14". Thanks for the input.

300W at 100% at 12 inches? Are you doing that without the plants showing any light stress? I've never been able to do that.

yeah sf2000 panel dimension are a tad bit small to offer an even light coverage and light dispersion across the whole area for a 2x4, sf2000 scale well for a 2x3 area,

for a 2x4 the se4500 320w model dimension scale well to offer an even light coverage and light dispersion near tent border, as well as few more watt.

and yeah sf2000 + sf1000 will offer rather similar result as the se4500
