natural gas c02 generator. 90% of the flames are blue, but 10% white.....what does this mean?

it means you will fade to black if you don't fix it :)
white mean the air / fuel ratio is off and you are getting co with your co2
more then likely the gas orifice has some sort of crude in it, ie, dog hair,dust bunnies, what ever, so hit it with compressed air after you turn it off then relight it and see if that fixed it
