anyone using a co2 generator with the propane tank how much did you pay for it and do you recommend it how is ur experience with it info appreciated:cool0041:

Only if you get an electronic ignition one, as I found the ones with the pilot light tend to raise temps in a smaller area over time, and it just isn't safe enough for me knowing there's an open flame running all the time. I got mine for less than 400 for an electronic propane generator. I'm absolutely thrilled with it so far. Just realize depending on the size and duration you'll have to run it to enrich, you're likely to raise temps a few degrees. I kind of see it as adding an additional 400-600 watt light.....again depending how big your space is....

I beleive you get about 4 ot 5 times the amount of C02 with a genny vs the CO2 that is naturally occuring in the air.

But you have to have your shit dialed in tight to take advantage of those higher levels, search "sealed room" there are a couple very informative threads here.
