Here's some Peruvian Torch I have going. About 200 or so germed in July or August in some compost and perlite under a shade cloth outdoors. They get misted daily.

I should be able to grow them in the tray they are in for a while. When they are ready to transplant I will put them in tall 4"x4" pots and probably give a few away. I'll keep the rest! I want a huge cacti forest in 5 years!

Thats cool. Cacti are pretty sweet. Joshua Trees are one of my favorite plants on the planet. Not if sure if they are trees or cacti, I do know they grow an inch a year and there are several in Joshua Tree National Park that are almost fourty feet tall. I have had the privilege of seeing them first hand, as have many others. I have several potted succulents that I have had for over a year, very slow growing but still interesting.
