Cal Mag Plus With Soil A/b

Hi all I am week 4 in flower in soil using soil A /B for nutes. I'm wondering if adding cal mag is a good move.
Most all I have read only use cal mag reactively when there is a cal/mag def.
Is it a good idea to give my plants this without any symptoms of a def.?

Just looking to keep them pumped up while they flower

As far as I'm concerned yes but you don't want to run it to the end.
