If anything they may need a little more than your use to with hps. Also depends on what you grow in. I as well feed cal mag up to 5th week and then cut it out and I use leds.

It depends on the strain also I have already ran about 7 strains under my new scorpion Diablo board. That is a very high end board and yet due to the inherent nature of the LED technology it still lacks in those areas. Thats just the nature of the LED beast. Only one of my strains (XXX OG) has had CalMag issues under the board. I have to feed that specific strain more CalMag than the others.

First led run. Start of week 4 in flower. @Aquaman this is how it’s looking with all the help from you and others on this forum. Thanks again!
Damnnnnnnnnn straight killing it. Great job. Cal mag all the way until flush if you’re running RO water. Happy grows.

@Aqua Man I tagged you wrong in this post. I wanted you to see how my led grow has been going with your help and others on this forum. Thanks again!!!

I’ve read that the UV bulbs should be used at the last 2 weeks. Is this correct?

I've heard that, but I run them from the time I see trichs develop. I have not tested either timing.

The important thing is to get a tube, CFLs or set of LEDs that are FOR living things, like plants and lizards. (Lizards are the other reason people use UVB lighting — they need it for vitamin D, I think.) I got a couple of tubes from a grow shop a few years ago, that must have been from a tanning bed, or something. They fried the living fuck out of my plants.

I use the kind made for desert lizards, which gives off about 12% UVB. I can leave it on for 12 hours with no burn.

I’m looking at mounting this to my HLG Scorpion RSpec.

We mounted ours Luxx UV’s in the middle of the lights on the ceiling. Hopefully it works.
