Ohnestly sounds about right,Its those damn tiers that fuck you.Also if your on CARE program and have a bill that big you ARE being watched closely and it is one of the only reasons they will work with LE if you are paying your bill.Its hard to justify a 1500-2000 a month bill and claim low income,their onto this bigtime.I know a few peeps that work for edison and this along with outright theft of power is very high on their prority list.

No I got cut off care.so it's high as f,,,but I can't stop growing I love it.thinking of renting a warehouse to grow in that way I get industrial electric bill I hope.

That's a lot for one 600, yikes! I was on care and was able to run 2k hps, 10k wall ac, 2 t5 fixtures (one 8 bulb one 6 bulb) with a few fans and I was in the 190-225 dollar range. This was like 2.5 3 years ago, I definitely was on top of paying the bill. Never had a problem with them in terms of using too much... Not sure what the max would be, maybe 3k... 4 750 gavitas or 4 600s. I think that would work, though 3k seems like a threshold for being flagged. I guess you have to consider what other electronic use the home is using up.

2k setup is good though, ran one for two years in a one bedroom apartment.

Yah, tier 4 is killer with socal Edison as well. Thinkin $.31/kwh or so. Medical baseline is helpful. Google it.

I agree with @Billyboat. Just pay your bill on time and there is no problem. I used to rage lake County and my power bill would always be around 2K a month. I would just go in and pay cash....no questions asked. Did this for a few years with no problems at multiple locations.

Sounds about right. Don't forget that part of how they tier you is comparing the previous year's use with this year's use. And if it's more, they ding ya. It was a REAL eye-opener buying a brand new home with no previous year's use to be compared to. And those insanely high power bills (we never hit over a grand, ever, but now I see why below) are precisely why we qualified for the federal stimulus fund program that put us on 100% solar power. But! If we use more than our panels generate, you'd better believe PG&E dings us hard. They owe us several hundred already, they ain't payin'.

If you're in PG&E territory and you're thinking of renting a warehouse, why don't you just take it outside? Outdoor weed tends to be cleaner and, according to inthegorge and all the testing her outfit has done, it's also more potent than indoor weed. I say fuck PG&E (always, every day I say this, I hate them) and use the Big Metal Halide in the Sky.
