I know you have like 900 million times more experience Mr. Kid than I do, but again...there are many paths to the same destination and I hope to prove you wrong in this particular instance but of course time will really tell. We have no environmental controls to deal with the heat when it really fires up over here inside.....we have unlimited access to free pallets....got a good electric pallet jack.....lots of pavement to roll smoothly over.....staffed 24/7 with alarms set for crucial timing like lights off, moving pallets in, etc. so we are going to try to manage. We seriously hope to be able to put in a couple of wind turbines within a couple of years and some solar arrays as well and hopefully be able to drop some of the stigma of the high power usage of an operation like ours. As to bugs.....you know....we sort of just decided to embrace the bugs:) We operate with our bay door open all day and even through most of the night with the lights shining like a beacon because on a warmer night it makes the heat much more manageable and raised the humidity. We have all sorts of bugs like moths and beetles and even had a 30 inch bull snake come a calling 2 nights in a row! We just could not maintain the clean room approach because it did not work for us with dogs, multiple people in and out and it was too weird having the doors closed and the windows covered so we are just dealing with it. We seem to have less of a bug problem with the doors open actually....no more spider mite issues to speak of. We spray clean water every day or two, we spray with a mild detergent and water every day or two, use a mint oil/water spray every 7 days or so and about every 14 days we use azamax just to be sure. If we see any trouble spots we use alcohol/water spray on certain strains that just seem to attract the darned things. We had worse issues when we tried to keep things all sealed up in all honesty. We do vacuum constantly and if we see anything on the plants we vacuum them carefully too. I am sure things can change on a moments notice but so far so good. We are very vigilant, groom the plants every day removing any dead/diseased/dying leaves and if there is more than 1 or two leaves with issues we give the plant a good check up and deal with any problems right then and there. I am sure we are mostly lucky but we also work hard at it so there is that. It is my hope that by having the plants in large containers "living" on pallets that the smooth ride from outside to inside will not be traumatic and if we do it from the moment we flip they should be used to it throughout their flowering period. I don't know if it will work or not but it seems like it should and that is what we are going to attempt:) I could fall flat on my face but I am really hoping that will not be the case. We plan on using beneficial's and teas a lot more outside since it is quite a bit easier to deal with outside than in. Keep your fingers crossed...I sure will!
