Camping

I just caught the camping bug, I’m jonesen for some time in the woods man, I needs a fix. Gotta do some fishing, cut some fire wood, smoke some joints. Ya know, live the good life!

I just can't seem to find the right place. I don't want to go to a desert, I need trees. Yellowstone is all mainstream, with millions of people a year, don’t really wanna go there….

Y'all got any ideas?

Damn the distance, so long as its in the main states, no Alaska or Hawaii.
I need to be able to get lost in the park for a week or maybe even two, So a big park is necessary.
I need fishing, so fresh water rivers/lakes/ponds would be good…..although if anyone knows of some real nice, secluded beaches out there that would be cool too.

Its sad that its this hard to find a place to get lost for a bit.

Matilija Canyon out in the Topa Topas.get someone to drop you off with a tent and a fishing pole.just watch out for wierdos.
