Anyone tried this or know if it can be done? you can dim 1000's down so why not just use a 600 ballast, longer arc tube right?
seriously man??? do not stick your finger into a wall outlet. do not have any sharp knives around yourself. probably should also wear a helmet while walking.
I've read on another thread that digital ballast's, say a 1000 watt dimmed to 600watts is only drawing 600watts therefore only outputting 600 watts, why can't I put a 1000 bulb in my 600 ballast, if you can run the same bulb on a 1000watt ballast dimmed to 600?
yes it well run but it won't last long I had a ballets that I got from a trend he told me it was a 1000 run it for 3 months and it stop working went to get it fixed and terns out it was a 600 so yes it well work just won't lastAnyone tried this or know if it can be done? you can dim 1000's down so why not just use a 600 ballast, longer arc tube right?
