Can an AC Infinity controller control AC?

I’m looking at purchasing an AC Infinity controller regardless, but I’m curious if I can set it up to control an Air Con unit to both heat and cool?

Like above said, has to be hard switched.

Do you need to use a heater at night and an a/c during the day? If so you would need 2 control plugs and 2 separate ports on your Controller 69 and then you can set each separately.
If it's winter and you don't need the a/c, you can just control the heater and when summer comes, switch the heater for the a/c and change the settings.

2 things:
If you haven't bought the Controller 69 yet, buy the Pro/WiFi version so you can monitor and adjust settings from anywhere you have cell phone service, the non pro version will only allow you to view and change settings while at home.

Make sure you know the amp rating of your breakers, wiring, and outlets and don't overload them.
Also remember that some circuits can can be connected to multiple outlets, lights, etc and even run through different rooms.

If you can't switch appliances with the seasons and want both plugged in year round with 2 separate AC Infinity Control Plugs, I would plug each into a different circuit. Those types of appliances usually have high wattage/amperage and I wouldn't want them on the same circuit, just in case they came on at the same time.

Yes. There are several ac units the ac infinity can control. As long as they can be plugged into one of the smart plugs. You will only have on/off functionality and will need a heater and a ac unit because using the smart plugs only gives you on off. But you can target program individual ports and tell your controller what is plugged into the smart plug then it gives you the enviromental target settings.

I bet eventually aci will have a heat pump for a grow tent that can be controlled via uis and give us the ability to control temp in both directions with 1 unit.

I love my pro+ because im a new grower and i want to constantly peek at my babies and this sort of satisfies that urge while im at work. I peek at my aci app probably hourly to see the enviroment is where it should be.

I give ACI a huge thumbs up on their controller and fans. Big and small fans. I think my setup is great and its mostly aci

Just frost too...no indications of heat. There goes my fantasy of a heat pump. Its probably a stand alone ac unit. Since they have a heater it woukd make sense.

Yeah but the aci controller has these cool preset programs that incorporates the entire enviroment into a single point control for different stages of growth. If youre building the enviroment from scratch having it controlled all together is very appealing. But it is more costly and comes with a slightly higher difficulty.

If i had an aci ac unit i would totally be using the preset shit just to do it. Lol

I use control plugs for heaters and humidifiers. I also have some AC Infinity versions of each of those. I don't see much difference. So far, we like the new dehumidifier we recently added, but it has its own app.

So... How would a tent controller control an air conditioner?

I wanted to plug the spider farmer fans into the aci controller. They dont talk to each other so I cant do that : )
