Not sure becoming a snitch is great advice. Still curious how OP knows this is an issue only when their cureing? How does he/she know what's going on to that level of specificity? doesn't seem logical.

Why not share what state you are in? I really like to know where all is taking place when I read these posts.. ThanksI live in a state where recreational growing is legal.
Because he smells it every 8 weeks? If they're not friendly and you don't talk with them how do you know it's only when they hang to dry bud that it smells? How do you know when they're hanging and drying bud? Unless there's more to it it doesn't seem to make sense to me
Because he smells it every 8 weeks for 10 days.what he said
Just ask nicely even though it may b legal people are still afraid and they may not realize that the smell is permiating because there used to it but im pretty sure that nobody wants any attention drawn to them. They should have a carbon filter not you your not growing! Trust me pot growers do not want attetion! Even if it is legal.Thank you! I may have too have a talk with them.
Hi, I haven't read the entire thred but have you heard of ONA Gels? For about $25 you could get a quart divided it up into small jars and place them where ever you find the offensive smell. You won't smell them or the odor that offends you. They'll last for a few weeks, they work, they were invented (as I know it) to control the odor in recycling facilities where it sucks the smell right out of the air. They use large barrels of the stuff you only need a bit. Google it.I live in a state where recreational growing is legal. My neighbors grow. I don’t have an issue with them growing. My issue is when they’re drying out. The smell gets into the vents and into my house. I have a carbon filter in my furnace.
I’ve spoken to 2 grow store to get some advice. And they’ve told me conflicting things. I thought maybe I could install(I have people willing) a carbon filter on my HVAC unit like the ones that are installed in grow houses to help. One told me no, to install a house ozone generator. Another said no to the generator and yes to the carbon filter. And the internet was no help.
My neighbors are not the friendly types, so I’m afraid to talk to them about the situation. I didn’t know what to do, so I figured a website for people who grow would be a good place to start. I understand that because I’m not a grower, I may be asked to deactivate my account. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
Sure! MichiganWhy not share what state you are in? I really like to know where all is taking place when I read these posts.. Thanks
Hahahaha Hahahaha! That’s what other people that grow say when I mention it. They say “ What? That’s special!” Thank you for your reply!!Drying weed in a BBQ Grill. Thats special. lol
Last time I did that was like 10 years ago and that was only cause we were at a festival and I just chopped a plant and stuffed into paper bags and took it with me. Got to the festival and no body had weed.
So we did the fast quick and dirty grill the buds lightly until dry enough to smoke in a bong. Problems solved. I traded most of the weed for shrooms. lol
Was a good 4 day music festival.
What I wood do wood be to get your other neighbor and chat up the weed neighbor all together. Bring up the smell of skunks and mention there may be one running around at night. It kinda smells like he's living in the grill so be careful. lol
I live in a city. Stealth is a way of life and its important for our safety to keep everything on the down low. WAY down low. He's got a record, maybe he's just not very smart. So be careful. Those are the people I try to avoid. People that cant stay under the radar and make a big stink. Draws too much negative attention.
They self absorbed and don't see how their actions affect everyone around them. Thats bad and inconsiderate.
Sorry to hear about this. It's this kind of BS that gives us home growers a bad rap. One bad apple deal.
Its fodder for the prohibitionists.
