So right now I am running shishkaberry in a taller style of growing but I want to switch to scrOG method. When I induce flowering with the current 600w light, they grow about 12-13" more every time. (When vegged to a plant height of 21"). Should I expect more growth than the normal 12"-13" when I switch to
1000w lights?

and just to be specific, Im talkin about height not bud growth, which will be horizontal in this case. I have a little more than a 2x2 area for each plant. Im wondering if thats enough space though. Thoughts anyone?

You can grow 4 foot plants with a 1000w vs 3 foot with a 600

You can run 8 to 15 plants easy.under a 1000w and get a good return.

Maybe if Im using tiny pots and tiny plants. Im running 10 gallon pots and I am only allowed to have a maximum of twelve plants. Thats why I plan on running 4 per light.

I used 3 gal pots for inside growing for the last 15 years and pull down 1 1/2 lbs with 8 plants in a 4x4. You need a gal for every month they spend in the pot, but knock yourself out, more money for dirt and food you or your plants will never use. Now if your veging for 4 months maybe.

So this is what 16 plants look like under 2 1000w, you got any pix of your grows?

We currently use 7 gallon geopots and just pulled down over 5 lbs with 14 plants using 8 600w HPS. I don't really feel like Im wasting money on the extra dirt, it seems like the root structure took full advantage of the space. They spent 1 month in veg under T5s. No pics for the moment, I would have to make sure my partner feels ok with putting them up online.

i dunno about limiting a plant to 3 foot under a 600W, IMO that is more of container limitations. i grow mine to about 3.5 - 4' super crop, scrog, and get my gram/watt all day. used 1000s for many years, switched to 600w when i did the math upon final harvest. after all cost expenses, i found running 3 600W lights in flower was more $ saving with great results! Now im rockin 4 600W and loving it.
