Why? 18/6 is enough. To answer your question yes you can veg under 24/0

you can veg under 24 hours light as mentioned above but im pretty sure i read some where that plants use energy the leaves "collect" through out the day and use it to make the plant grow at night.( or something close to that) so i think 18/6 would be best.

Agreed they perform different processes and I feel a dark period is important.

I've done 24 hours light veg and the plants weren't nearly as vibrant or as healthy looking as this current run at 21 hours light. I too believe dark period is important even if it's just 3 hours

My second grow was grown in pots too big and they are doing good but they look to be about eight days behind and growth they are on day 17 and look like day eight or nine

Figured I can help to make up the lost time by turning up the light time?

OK thanks guys now do you say that I agree when I wake up in the morning I could see new growth so I’m just gonna stick to what I’m at I was just worried about my plants being slow in the beginning they seem about seven or eight days behind and I don’t know if I should start over I just let them go

Anything is possible but on certain lines pre flower or even Auto Flower traits may get triggered...18/6 is more natural to the plant yes....I run 24/0 most of the time....You should see new growth daily 1-3"in on avr, no matter your light schedule.....Light intensity may have more impact actually...
Put a small plant under a 2 bar t5 cfl and another under a 600wt MH HPS....that will also make a big diff in growth and pace if you can keep up...heh....
Ive grown for long enough to know that theres not enough diff for me to care either way.....you'll save a few $$ on elect bill....
also coming out of 24/0 may help to Trigger flowering a bit faster as well.....But Im not expecting ppl to post up positive influences 24/0 can have....but it does as well....power to it
