Can I Take Clones Week 5 Of Flower?

If you are gonna cut extra buds to cover damp offs why not just leave some on the plant for an almost sure thing to get clones?

I was going to take cuts 5 weeks into flower, but revegging makes more sense now, as I won't lose any clones, as there seems to be a pretty high loss rate. One site said take 5/6 clones and said expect 3 to survive. Leaving the lower stems and buds and just putting them back to veg hours seems like a more sensible solution.

She may not reveg tho,she should but occasionally it dosent work,so reveg and cut 2 clones as well,twice as much chance to save it!,and watch for pm or mould on the little buds,taking late cuts is called monster cropping,thats usualy why peeps intentionally take cuts from 21 days up till harvest.gives a big yield.good luck,76
