Title.

I got some seeds in a 420 sale, got me some extras. I'd like to preserve the extras, I'm considering putting them through the bag sealer and sealing them up for long term storge unti lI'm ready to use them. Is it safe to do this? The plan would be to bag seal them, then transfer to a plastic pill bottle container and tape it with dark material before putting it in the fridge.

Yay or nay?

I’m interested in this myself. I have seeds from different places right now. I just keep them in a dark closet in their original packaging.

Seeds will last for years at indoor temperatures without all that. If you plan to store them longer that 2-3 years you could put them in the fridge in a sealed bag. Light doesn’t matter.
