Can someone help identify this

Im trimming some buds and came across a couple white specks that come right off im hoping its not mold but if someone can please help me identify this they are semi hard but also crush

i would say it is pieces of perlite that got on it as you was harvesting , it has happened to me

if its hard it's perlite mold would be fluffy or powdery like

Thanks buds I just grabbed a peice of perlite to compare under my scope and looks identical and breaks apart the same as well
