Hey everyone welcome to 2014 the year of wonderful new opportunities with creative and new approaches.

I am planning my next grow and still looking for the right place...hopefully I can find something soon looks like Everyone is looking for a prop 215 spot and a lot of renters saying no prop 215...sigh.

Well I'm working on a budget and can afford around $1200 a month. I got an idea 2 days ago how I might be able to maximize yield...I had a gh light dep approach but seemed to risky as to so many variables involved but what if I did this:

Start the clones indoors under 1000 watts or maybe a hoophouse with supp lights and then when I'm ready to flower I put them in the sun at 7am and inside the house at 7pm. Everyday for 2 months...

It sounds like a lot of work but that is feasible for me. I was thinking about putting wheels on some buckets and building a plywood ramp from the house to outside to easily move them.

Id like to do about 50 good sized plants maybe 4-6 weeks of veg

Ideas and concernswill be much appreciated

Heres a little sketch of the idea

INSPIRATION!

DOUBLEDS AND HUMBOLDTLOCAL ARE MY INSPIRATION!

have you considered something like this?

Forever Flowering Greenhouses

...these are probably pricey but i'm sure i could figure a way to DIY something similar.

it might be easier on your plants AND your back.

peace, bozo

Yes I would love to have one of these but the install cost alone would eat up my budget.

I want to do about 50 plants about 3ft wide thats 30 ft x 15 ft jammed together it would be a big diy and I'm not having any psychical labor help on this one all solo

Im in my 20s so not worried about my back just worried about all my funds going into construction wIth nothing left for soil, containers, clones, and nutrIents

This will be all from scratch...

...do a search on Youtube for 'hoophouse DIY' and you'll see there are several vid's to watch and if you find one you think you can handle it wouldn't be too complicated to add some panda plastic inside that could be rolled up and down every 12 hours, it might end up being a hassle but it could be made to work for relatively small money if you wanted it bad enough, lol.

peace, bozo

That's a good idea plastic on on the inside rolling it up...how do you figure this to work without it touching the buds causing mold...and how do you factor in humidity buildup as plants go through cellular respiration at night

lol, that's why i suggested you do a Youtube search, to find those kinds of answers, ...i've never done this bro, i'm just tryin' to help you figure it out is all.

peace, bozo

No 215's are standard where I be living, but that doesn't stop a lot of folks. Just gotta know the right peeps to sort this out.;)

Thats an excellent question.
.Breathable black out cloth, is no doupt, 100% better than plastic

Most threads about light dep talk about what a pain it is to have to be there every day, twice everyday..
just to cover the plants (takes 5 min)

and you plan to be there everyday, twice a day, to move 50 big plants, in and then back out, everyday for 2 months?

Thats dedication! Good luck with it...and keep us posted for sure!

much more efficient to cover your structure than to move plants. I am young still, started early in Santa Cruz with O.D. and light dep greenies...(hoopies) 10 or so years ago... I only made it up to trinity a few years back but the long days of manually hauling water and mixing teas all afternoon are long gone... its all about working smarter not harder, but with all that said you have to go with your gut and what your budget allows.

stick to indica lineage and get your cuts out early if your going to supplement with light and put up plastic... (all about having your light dep beat the flood) and panda or black out works great... Just remember when buds form don't let plastic keep humidity high (roll up sides) and also cheap fans never hurt. air movement is key for those baby arm colas... if you take plastic off completely before you bud, nothing to worry about..

You should plan on not leaving when doing dep, so have a buddy lined up to be there with an alarm clock set twice a day. Much better and easier than moving any descent sized plants in and out.

You can make a pretty simple swinging arm device that allows you to dep the whole hoop structure in about a minute. I am building one this week sometime so I will show ya what I mean then. But good luck no matter what you do!

Thank

thank you sungrown for your feedback. I would build a structure if it fit my budget my budget. I have to see how things go from here. All these counties putting plant counts on growers is getting me frustrated deciding where I should grow 99 babies

That is pushing it these days I think, but not necessarily in a greenhouse. What counties are you looking at so far?

That breathable wall is the shit!!!!!!
I was looking for something like that a couple of years ago and could never find the website again.

All recent searches always gave you tyvex type materials.
Now just need to figure out how to DIY it so 20 feet doesn't cost you 4k
