Hi. First time grower, and I'm confounded.
Problem: chlorosis yellowing on new growth between leaf veins. Also, all new growth is much lighter than established growth, may or may not be normal.
Facts:
Soil Grower.
1. I am growing from clones. The areolar chlorosis affected are Wedding Crasher, unaffected (except for light colored new growth) are Wedding Cake.
2. The plants are exactly 4 weeks from transplanting.
3. Plants are about 28" tall, after scrogging.
4. They are planted in 5 gallon cloth bags.
5. Soil is Fox Farms Ocean Forest, amended with coco, perlite, Endoboost mycorrhiza, Akka Naturals Vermicast earthworm casting, and top dressed with a little kelp meal.
6. I water twice a week on average, with tap water.
7. After adjusting, pH of the water is between 6.0-6.5.
8. Only ONCE have I used any fertilizer. 1 week ago (just before symptoms appeared) I used Fox Farms Grow Big and Big Bloom, and a little CalMag added.
9. I have foliar sprayed my plants with CalMag twice.
10. Lit with Grower's Choice ROI-E720 LED light, measures 900 at center canopy, 780 at corners.
11. Light is 24" from canopy.
12. 4X4, 16 sq. ft. grow space.
13. Temperature ranges between 71F at night to 79F peak day. Humidity averages 48.3%.
14. pH of the soil ranges from 6.2 to 6.8
15. No insects.
16. I'm a first time grower, trying to figure this stuff out.
Here are two photos of the chlorosis, and one photo of the canopy.
And here's the canopy. The new growth is pretty light colored. It's lighter green/yellow than it appears in the photo. I don't know if this is normal new growth color or not.
