Hi. First time grower, and I'm confounded.

Problem: chlorosis yellowing on new growth between leaf veins. Also, all new growth is much lighter than established growth, may or may not be normal.

Facts:

Soil Grower.
1. I am growing from clones. The areolar chlorosis affected are Wedding Crasher, unaffected (except for light colored new growth) are Wedding Cake.
2. The plants are exactly 4 weeks from transplanting.
3. Plants are about 28" tall, after scrogging.
4. They are planted in 5 gallon cloth bags.
5. Soil is Fox Farms Ocean Forest, amended with coco, perlite, Endoboost mycorrhiza, Akka Naturals Vermicast earthworm casting, and top dressed with a little kelp meal.
6. I water twice a week on average, with tap water.
7. After adjusting, pH of the water is between 6.0-6.5.
8. Only ONCE have I used any fertilizer. 1 week ago (just before symptoms appeared) I used Fox Farms Grow Big and Big Bloom, and a little CalMag added.
9. I have foliar sprayed my plants with CalMag twice.
10. Lit with Grower's Choice ROI-E720 LED light, measures 900 at center canopy, 780 at corners.
11. Light is 24" from canopy.
12. 4X4, 16 sq. ft. grow space.
13. Temperature ranges between 71F at night to 79F peak day. Humidity averages 48.3%.
14. pH of the soil ranges from 6.2 to 6.8
15. No insects.
16. I'm a first time grower, trying to figure this stuff out.

Here are two photos of the chlorosis, and one photo of the canopy.

And here's the canopy. The new growth is pretty light colored. It's lighter green/yellow than it appears in the photo. I don't know if this is normal new growth color or not.

Adding to previous post:

Addendum to No. 8: After the one time I fertilized, I decided to check runoff. PPM of water was 220. PPM of runoff was 2100. Runoff was "iced tea" color and contained dirt particles, so I don't know how much of the PPM was nutes and how much was soil. I've never measured PPM before, and don't know what I'm doing or what to look for.

General addendum: I fed plants because I thought I had a previous deficiency, which I guessed was Calcium (hence adding CalMag), but online searches said it could be other things, and Fox Farm Trio was recommended. So I fed the plants the lowest ratio recommended by FF. Two days after feeding, a few sun leaves started to claw tips mildly, but most leaves were fine. That's about the same time the chlorotic new growth started to appear. Thought I might have given too much nitrogen and locked out other nutes, so I then did a slight wash of soil (added 2 gallons per plant, when I usually add only 1 gallon, so had one gallon runoff).

Don't know if any of that adds to it. I'm a newbie, so I could be my own worst enemy, here.

Thanks.

If you haven’t already, go to the cannabis infirmary category and select the sticky, charts. Scroll down to the pictures of leaves and see if you can figure something out. I am outdoors so I don’t dealWith a lot of leaf issues other than pests. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

Not a single poster here knows how to grow a plant. In fact no one growing Cannabis on the entire planet knows how a plant works, apparently.

Except me. Too bad this community turned me into a troll long ago. I'm just here to document the fake experts embarrass themselves. They all have memorials dedicated to their years of perpetual bro science bullshit.

There's no answer as to why your low humidity and lack of UV spectrum are causing reduced boron-calcium uptake to limit phosphorus mobility. And there's probably no fix, because everyone knows feeding calmag just makes nitrogen toxicity and feeding lime just makes the ph bad. Absolutely no one can get sufficient calcium into their plant and that's just the way it is.. According to the internet full of curvy ass pot leaves.

This being my very first time experiencing the unparalleled joy of your terrific trolling, it's tough for me to bring my brain back from the sarcasm orgasm you gave me. I mean, it's like a fire hose of hilarity and your brilliant comedy blinds me to whatever level of content there might actually be in your post. Nevertheless, I'm going to take a wild-ass guess and say you think this is a calcium deficiency. You are clearly the pinnacle of pot prowess in this population, and I marvel at your ability to diagnose a calcium deficiency despite the utter lack of any symptoms from the typical lists one finds on the idiot internet. Ima go chuck a bottle of CalMag now to right my brain. Thanks.

Seriously, I'm trying to figure out if you're a bored brilliant or an incel troll. Not enough data yet. But thank you for taking the time to respond. I'll try to figure it out.

Still, you bring up a great point for a newbie here. I have no way of discerning who knows their shit from who doesn't know shit, because I'm so new I haven't learned shit yet. So don't shit me, or shit on me.

Well, I got no help from anyone here. But in case anyone else has the same kind of problem and happens across this thread, here's what it turned out to be:

What I had was an iron deficiency brought on by high pH. I had a pH meter that was waaaaay off. It read water as 6.8 when the pH was really 8.5. It was very alkaline, and I thought it was in the right range, but it wasn't. It was so alkaline that it locked out iron.

The solution was to adjust the pH. First I had to get a new pH pen; one that worked. And then I flushed the plants with pH 6.0 water, and foliar fed chelated iron 0.6 oz to a gallon of water. That cleared it up.

So if anyone else has a problem like I had, consider that it might be an iron deficiency. I had never seen an iron deficiency result in mottling on the leaves. Some of it looks like foliar burn, and some of it clearly wasn't. Weird case. Usually it's interveinal chlorosis starting from the stem end of the leaf. I had that, as you can see in the canopy photo, but it started with the weird partial chlorosis.

Anyway, I did manage to figure it out, no thanks to folks here, and I learned that an iron deficiency brought on by high pH can manifest in an odd way, but eventually it evolved to look like a regular iron deficiency.

Somebody slipped a finger in your ass without permission huh? That'd piss me off too. I hope you learn to love yourself enough to move on, and give up all the hate harboring. You're gonna get a gut disorder, and not from the finger slip.

That was a few weeks ago. Things have changed, and as mentioned above I found the problem and fixed it. Lights are now 18" from canopy, which is as high up as I can get them, set at 85% on the dimmer. I had to lower it from 90% to 85% because one strain of plants started "praying," which to me is a sign of light stress, and I'm out of vertical space to raise the lights. Also, I'm out of veg and into flower now. Plants are 54" tall and are starting to bud.

sorry I missed this... I didn't read it all but loon like what can happen when the stomata become damaged. Possibly low humidity with to much light.

900 ppfd is way to high if in veg and under 18+ hrs of light. 400-600 is more appropriate. Even to begin flower 900 would be a bit to much I think.

I see some swelling inbetween the veins. Could mean thise 2 factors with a slight over watering.

have seen some similar effects from large ph swings also but not sure that would be the case here.

don't read to much into the ppm if runoff in soil it's often 2000-3000 and the plants will be fine. Ppm with any soil or organic amended media is not going to give you an accurate view of available nutrients. OH is about all you need to monitor as far as run off that will benefit you.

ppm in on the otherhand is still a good idea.

Sorry we missed your post. There are so many that it's very difficult to make sure we get them all.
Yeah, Iron is obvious in the first pix. I'm glad you figured it out.

Feel free to tag someone in here next time you need help so that we are sure to see it that way.
