Hey Farmers!
Ive been having my runoff coming out around 7, input is 5.5-5.8.
My question is will a slurry test tell my the PH of my media? seems like with that much perlite it wouldn't be an accurate reading. Also what does a high PH output mean? I know if it comes out lower, that usually indicates salt buildup. Any else experience this?

THANKS!

Yes. That's not a lot of perlite. I can't speak well as to what high pH 'output' might mean in this context as it relates to how nutrients are or aren't being used by the plant, sorry. This is assuming that you're using water of lower alkalinity and thus, would have far less (to no) pH bounce.
