I am NOT going to smoke the leafs😂 I’m just wondering if it’s possible to get high of it
No, the trichomes are the resin glands of the plant, and are what contain the thc that gets you "high". Im sure that leaves contain slight traces of thc but idk for sure and itll most likely just cause a headache and taste like complete shit.

the larger fan leaves are compost bro tho some people do use them for smoothies, you can smoke up on the sugar leaves if you feel the need to increase you amount of weed for say a joint to roll or whatever should be fine ive done this

No , leaves are for the goats only.

I've seen them used to make blunt wraps and Thai stick style cigars. I wouldn't smoke them by themselves though. Just not potent enough alone

Yes you can, but it may depend on the variety.

Back in the early 70s, plenty of leaf was smoked. Sativas of that time -- Mexican, Jamaican and Colombian were available in the US -- had small, wispy buds and lots of leaf.

If I have nice clean broad leaves I roll weed cigars with them. They work. Has to be the right amount of moisture and the perfect leaves. You use a razor to remove the veins. And then a light pressure to break the fibres. Dry in the window sill. Good smoke

I got to see how they cure tobacco leaves so I would imagine you would want to dry the weed leaves to the same consistency where they are pliable enough to be rolled without turning to dust.

You gotta roll em wet. Or they won't stay sealed and get tight enough.

Really not good for you to smoke leaf. It contains fertilizer. Especially nitrogen/ Nitrates.

Can you? I don't know, can't speak to your abilities there. Too many variables.

Should you? I'm not a doctor, won't advise.

Would I? Not anymore.

Seeing this post tells me you're a teenager trying to find a high. My nephew asks me the same shit. Maybe read a book on financial literacy or figure out a hustle that'll future proof you to the world you're coming into.

Not being a dick, but... you're asking about smoking leaf.

I completely disagree with this baseless assertion. Not knowing something does not make you a "16 yr old", I ask questions like this all the time about a lot of stuff, including the very question the OP asked. OP asked a legitimate question, there is no need insult them. Most likely they are a new grower and curious what can be used and what can be tossed.

With that said @mikkel , to my knowledge everything but the roots and stems contains cannabinoids. Based on what I know there are only trace amounts in the fan leaves so it's very unlikely that you will experience a psychoactive effect from smoking them. The concentrations in the fan leaves would be affected by genetics and quality of grow. There is also personal tolerance but I would say technically you could get high from smoking them. I assume that most people would have to smoke so many leaves that you would get lightheaded or dizzy from just smoking long before you felt "high".

I personally would not smoke them.
