Can you use the Bonsai technique on an already Adult Mother plant

I have several mothers getting large and would like to cut them down a bit and bonsai to sorts. I could always take a clone and start fresh from Oldtimer1 guide but has anyone had success with an already large mother?

Anyone?? 500 reshared articles on starting with cuts. What about training a larger plant? Anyone successful in bonsai on a larger plant?

started screwing around with this a few weeks ago.. wasn’t planning on it, if so i would of had a big rock underneath the soil but the rock/soil would be at pot height level with a home made height border, than as plant grows and matures i would slowly remove the soil to expose roots until i could remove the border and expose most of the rock or whatever you use..
i was always thinking of using a toy figure dude.. haha..
