Are you looking to use this oil to replace your narcotic painkillers, or is this to help with withdrawals? I guess I'm saying if your goal is to get fucked up, there might be better ways than 5 tablespoons of coconut oil at a time. 5 tablespoons a day would have you run through a gallon of oil every two months. That one gallon batch had a pound of flower, not trim, and between 4-6 ounces of dry sift.

Is this a viable long term solution or just a band-aid for now? Either way I'm glad chickenman could help jipp.

edit- They have distillate for $30 a gram and it's 90-98%. Might be time to dab Chris to get as fucked up as you need.

i forgot to menton.. i would of already tried dabbing if it was not for the cost of the only oil id have access to the comerical crap from hYh.

so ill have to wait till i get my own herb. also id need a 18mm nail for my bong i think i would.. hah i have no clue how to dab :D

but yeah edibles are long term thing for pain.. even if its just a body high .. its all good what i have experience now proves it helps with pain ( and withdrawals too bonus ).. good herb can take care of the fuckd up part if i want that. heh

Send me another pm when you have time. When you obtain plants or clones you'll be able to hit the ground running?

You could use a 'nectar collector' instead of a bong, that's the brand name of what I am talking about. Head shops also have 'honey straws' which are simply blown tubes with a point. Google 'glass straw for dabs' and look for the simple ones that are literally a glass tube with a point at the end, hollow. You heat the end of the point until it's hot, then you dab. No bong, no nail, I just rest mine in a shot glass because I am notorious at dropping shit.

yeah, my parents are gonna help get the 400CFM inline fan/scrubber as thats a quick 400.00 so thanks to them.. or id have to go with less quality parts.. ill get the 80.00 titan thermostat that @rmoltis recommended. then my tent will be done i think. at least it will have parts that last.. im gonna order the thermostat .. and i have ordered a 6" fan, so yeah im off to the races once these seeds pop. i think my issue is with heat. people see 80F and to us that is like 60F.. so i spent 15.00 on a seed/clone heating mat even if i wont need it during summer.. or maybe i will probably good to have anyhow.

but yeah i have what i need or will by the end of the month.

I use concentrate. Either bho, rosin, qwiso, or ethanol extraction.

Decarb 293* for 10 mins in a thick shot glass. Make a triple broiler (pot of water/metal bowl of water/shot glass in metal bowl of water. Add desired amount of coconut oil. My dosages: 1g of rosin is good for 12 potent doses. Since I do 1ml doses, I use 12ml per 1g concentrate, makes 12 doses. After you add coconut oil to shot glass in triple broiler, bring up to about 140* and stir, stir, stir for 20 mins or so. Let soon down.
Done

I put them in master amber bottles for storage. I try and make 36 doses at a time.

Do you use a candy thermometer, or how do you keep the temp at 293?

Could I use a butane wax that autobuttered? I would have put a shitload of wax in with that coconut oil but I wasn't sure if butane wax would be soluble, and I figured the product CM used would be more than enough. Next time!

Although, is it safe to assume melting down concentrates made with flammable solvents be a potential fire hazard, and would it be considered illegal to produce at home since the ingredients include solvents? This is jurisdiction based, and I don't know, I'm just spitballing. I wouldn't do this in a townhome or apartment in a non-friendly area, but out in the sticks I assume it would be fine.

You can definitely use BHO that sugared/buttered up... and there isn't (or definitely fucking shouldn't be) anywhere near enough residual butane in your BHO to cause any flammability issues.

yeah its all greek. hah. im just gonna have to have them young cats at the distrib teach me how to dab when im healthy.. hah.. maybe i can show them how to do a knife hit. hah.
