Also yes. Thats the goal. Just regular ass house plants. I dont live somewhere where i could just keep them outside or what ever. Ideally id like some bonzai size plants.
I’ve used five gallon buckets with some gravel and holes in the bottom for drainage. After four or more months outdoors the root is all balled up and sunny days drive the soil temp way up. Cloth bags work better at trimming the roots and drying cycle for feeding. Retail for five gallon bags Or buckets is around $5 each so making burlap or carpet scrap bags is cheaper. Can’t help you much on indoor lighting, my best lights are last century’s 75w ceramic metal halides, ok for veg but barely enough to flower one plant. Mostly i use cheap 4’ shoplight fixtures and coolwhite tubes, then outdoors May-October. If i was buying an indoor light it would have a veg/flower setting, cover a 4x4 area and priced under $200.
To help a little you could repot your plants into deeper pots with either a good soil mix or coco perlite , the pots should be at least 2/3 deeper so when you place the plant in have roots right at bottom so the etulating plant can have its stalk covered up ,giving support and giving you a thing called adventisious roots I use this method with my tomatoes . Spend a bit of money and get a light that is capable of hitting 70 DLI. You're not going to run it that high, but you need the overhead.
