I’m not sure but it’s cool 🤣 I’ve seen it plenty of times not sure if it would hurt anything, I just mixed in a 5 lb bag of idk the terms but inoculated substrate I believe it’s called, of lions mane into my new 130gallon outdoor beds, I wasn’t gunna have time to grow em so I just mixed halos of it into the top 8” of each bed..

So I’d like to know too, can mushies do anything negative? I’d assume it’s fairly normal as a lot of people use mushroom compost I do see it all the time just don’t know if they leave em or pull em after 🤣🤣

My thinking on the mushrooms, in a healthy forest you'll find mushrooms all over with other plants....

Yeah I was basically following another poster from another site but they stopped posting on this other site. I used the mushroom compost when I transferred them to their final pot. I had used this mixture for my seedlings and I never did that and figured it was because of the mushroom compost in the seedling solo cup made the roots to take off.

On the recharge, there was a great post by a person named Emilya Green on another board (not sure I can share), she is a great source on all things organic

Hope it doesnt hurt them!
They are acting goofy is why. Droopy. I have done everything I know of. Not from watering too much, not because not enough water. I think it might of been too much humidity but it wasn't that high 72 was highest.

I base my humidity off vpd, so 72 would be a little high in my tent. My seedlings have been about 67 for the most part (I just lowered it a hair because it was time to bump up the vpd).

what are people thoughts on this watering schedule.

How to Water Your Cannabis Seedlings: The First 30 Days & Beyond

Below, I have a 30-day watering schedule for seedlings in 3-gallon or 5-gallon fabric pots.

  • Day 1 – Give 2 cups (500ml) water per plant (at this point, your cannabis seedlings should have their leaves completely open and be in a 3-gallon or 5-gallon pot under the grow light)
  • Day 3 – Give 2 cups (500ml) water per plant
  • Day 6 – Give 2 cups (500ml) water per plant
  • Day 8 – Give 3 cups (750ml) water per plant (every 3 days after this)
  • Day 11 – Give 3 cups (750ml) water per plant
  • Day 14 – Give 4 cups (1 liter) water per plant
  • Day 17 – Give 4 cups (1 liter) water per plant
  • Day 20 – Give 5 cups (1.25 liter) water per plant
  • Day 23 – Give 6 cups (1.5 liter) water per plant
  • Day 26 – Give 6 cups (1.5 liter) water per plant
  • Day 29 – Give 8 cups or 1/2 gallon (2 liter) water per plant
  • Continue giving 1/2 gallon (2 liters) per plant every 3 days. You may need to give more at a time or more often as plants get bigger. If plants get droopy before being watered, you should give more water at a time, or water more often.

Mmm not a fan of watering schedules. I just go by weight of the pot, but that issue arises when you are using too big of a pot for plant size (why we up pot) so your roots can uptake the water and dry back anytime I skip a dryback and water early I always have a droopy plant the next day till she uses some of it up

Like these pots 3” pots, I was watering every 2 days, now the larger 3 are drying back in less than 24 hours, to me it’s now time to up pot to a 6” pot (double the soil they are in now) then once I’m back to a 24 hour or less dryback I know they are ready for the next stage of soil and water and should handle it like a champ

yeah i was going by weight, but with my drooping issue i thought it was not enough and then thought too much. i have these self watering pots but i haven't used them as i had just put them in 3 gallon and was waiting for roots to head south to the bottom. those look great by the way. thanks for the info. i will remember this.

here are my ladies. the 2 back are SLH, and the the right front is SLH. front left is Maui. i have 2 Acapulco gold soon to be added. the back 2 i didn't have any 4.4.4 and order some and they sent me a week later the power bloom instead. so they had to resend me 4.4.4 all purpose fert. the back left is coming around but back right has always given me issues hoping she will come along. new growth is nice so looks promising.

Hey man! Found you : ) looks like Mikedin said his piece about watering schedules. I would absolutely just water based off of how much the plant needs to be watered. It’s ever changing but you should be able to get a rough schedule based off of your application (medium, pots, pot size, plant vegging vs. plant flowering).

Your plants are looking great! Nice job! I think those self watering bases will help out a lot ( I have never used them but see and hear good things) I’ll tag along from here to see how you do with those watering bases

thanks man. i used this twice on 2 plants and those are the back 2. they started turning yellow, and i think they may have been alright if i had added more cal mag, and all purpose fertilizer. they are getting bigger and the yellow is almost gone on the back right one. this one has been the slow child lol.
