This has become a pretty special run now with my fav girl. I said all along I wished I'd taken cuttings from her, and now I get to just focus on her, keep flushing, and give her all the attention of the
Spider Farmer SE 3000 to help finish and frost her up. I've got it backed right back to 50% now 6" from the very tops. The canopy is being kept pretty even by the big tops bending down now under the weight. Really helping the stuff in the middle ripen up. This is day 67 of flower now, if I can get it thru another week of flushing at the rate it's frosting under the new light I should get the nugs this plant was always destined to produce. Learning a lot from my first plant as I dry and cure it, will improve from what I've learned when I'm doing the second girl, and then this girl will come down in hopefully another week maybe two, and be dried in the tent where I can keep humidity at a perfect 60-62 and make my ultimate top shelf stash from this grow.
The stuff I'm smoking now is from plant one which got 56 day 12/12, 8 day dry which probably could've been 10, misjudged how dry the sticks were. Still beautiful but I'm having to give them longer periods with lids off jar as there was a tiny bit of moisture in the middle still. They will be in day 4 or 5 of cure tomorrow so they'll get a 62% pack in the next day or two and keep curing away, but such a great experience to smoke them day by day and see what the curing process does to the flavour and smoothness. I can see what a lot of the older growers mean when they say the cure has a lot more to do with the cleanness and flavour than flushing (lots of experimental evidence for this btw).
Next run once this girl is out and finished drying, and the tent has had a thorough clean down with chlorine bleach, will be a little 3x3 power run with 1 or 2 monster cropped clones from the big girl who revegged later and had to be thrown. These are revegging outside atm in 1 gal fabric pots with coco. Will post about their progress when the sun comes up tomorrow. Amazing to see the difference in their structure as compared to a veg clone or seed. Kinda cool.
Also I realise how bad the trim job is. Go easy was my first go and I've learned from this one what the leaves look like that look innocent when you're trimming but really show up as they keep curing. Was very tired too haha. My other two girls will get the Rolls Royce treatment
