I have this happen opproxitmently every 1out of 10 plants. I do everything the same with plants of the same age. I know different strains like and need what are strain specific. Both auto's and photos. I only use dwc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

hey sorry i’ve never grown this method,..
someone will help out soon,.
 
Have you tried using a microscope? Kinda looks like russet mites.no pistils,yellowing of the tips and the rough look of leaves
 
russet or broad mites but if other plants are healthy then it can't be mites as they would already spread
did you check the leaves under loupe?
I also know nada about hydro- you need hydro grower here to help 🤟

Yea had spider mites before am not getting them again it's not any pest.amd it happens in different aged plants as well.
 
Roots are fine. Almost white no smell I change water every 5 days.
 
Gonna lean towards mites, my friend. They don't always attack every plant like you would think. That twisted blistered and shiny growth is a sign.
