Carbon filters, and placement?

I am putting in a carbon air filter, but due to space issues it is much more practical to have carbon filter after fan, so the air will be pushing through. Ive always heard to have the fan pulling the air through filter, but was curious if it is really that much worse the other way around?...:animbong:

good question im shure it makes a difference some what i guess depends on your fan and filter though

it works but not as well also i believe it wears the filter out quicker and put extra strain on the fan

You also don't get the benefit of the dust prefilter on the outside when you push air through.
