A friend is looking to move back to his home state of MI. He is interested in becoming a caregiver but I warned him that the state bars some folks with felony records i.e drug felonies. He has a two felonies, one for arson and another for insurance fraud. Do these non drug felonies bar him from registering as a caregiver? Thanks

Wish there was clarification for 7411. Which is a first time offenders probation deal. Basically after successful probation it's off your visible record.

Thanks deacon1503. The way I read the bill its about being on bail for an assault. I think he crime was from 12 or more years ago in another state. Guess this might be best for a lawyer.
