So I found these eggs on one of my plants and I also found a catapiller on another plant. I believe these are catapiller/butterfly eggs. If anyone can confirm it and if anyone Has any experience with these and what to use to get rid of them
Catapillers and butterflys

BT,bacillus thuringiensis. You'll definitely want to keep up with regular application.....at your discretion in respect to flowering cycle. I almost got decimated last fall.

You could probably remove the eggs, or possibly an iso spray will break them down since BT only works when the worms or caterpillars eat the bacteria not for eggs.

Caterpillars don't lay eggs, only butterflies. They tend to do their heaviest breeding during full moons. Spray BT or Spinosad once a week, and at the night of the full moon. BT kind of leaves an oder, so I use that early, then Spinosad later in flower.

Not sure if those are butterfly/moth eggs, but they could be for sure.

Yes, moreso actually, because it is the white cabbage moth's caterpillar that eats our lovely buds. Treat with alternating sprays of Bt and Spinosad. Only apply Spinosad at night because it can harm pollinators. Applying Bt at night is generally better, too, because sunlight will kill the bacteria.

I'll say this, listen to Bulldog11 on this OD stuff, he definitely knows his shit.

Seamaiden always impresses me with her knowledge of species of plants, fish, animals and bugs.

I have no idea if it's a moth, butterfly, or anything that might eat your plants. However, if the moth/butterfly chose that plant to lay it's eggs, its a sure bet those caterpillars will feast on your plant. I would chop off that leaf with the eggs, and destroy it. Then continue with weekly sprays of bt or spinosad. Caterpillars are a bitch, and most likely no matter what you do they will find a bud or two and destroy them. Part of farming. Get to preventive sprays early, and keep with it.

So I picked up some of this and I'm goin to spray tonight when the suns down. Yea I picked that leaf off and destroyed the eggs. How often should I spray and it says 1/2 to 4 tsp per gal. What should I start out at? Thanks for all the help everyone!!!

That's the stuff. I have never used that exact product, but I don't think BT burns plants. I would start out at 2tsp per gal. Maybe test spray a plant first, but I think that product is safe.

Once every 7-10 days. Make sure to hit on full moons. I like to switch up Spinosad with the BT every week. Or start out with the BT for 1-2 weeks, then switch up between the two products, then just Spinosad in the last few weeks. The spinosad seems to leave zero trace, while the BT can leave a faint smell if used very late in flower.

Cool beans thanks a lot

ladybugs eat the eggs and the caterpillars. they dig into the buds and poop in them .makes for bud rot later.
the other day a ladybug had one cornered on a leaf tip. I put it out of his misery . But that ladybug was about to get him. I wish I had waited and got a picture of him eating the worm.
