I've just got myself some celotex 75mm
should this go between the rafters or on top of the rafters? please advise

I was hoping i could pin it to the rafters and use silver back gaffer to seal/join all the gaps?

if i go in between rafters i will have to second skin it

I had to google some of the words you guys use across the pound but if it were me I would installl the celotex just like i would drywall, attach it to the rafters butting the joints along the rafters and seal with tape. An added advantage of installing it this way is the air gap between the celotex and roof will help control condensation/humidity.
