Hey farmers

I need advice on which will veg better. I want to veg for a minimum of 5 or 6 weeks before moving outdoors, also how many plants would fit under each for veg and growth only

250 watt LED
4 ft 4 tube T5 248 watt
250 watt CFL

Thanks in advance

The T5/clf will veg slower however they still do the job I’ve used both satisfactorily there ok for veg not so much flowering

The 250w led would be your best choice

Agree with @Gmix , led 250w

it all depends on the quantity of your pots and how many plants you want growing

Thanks for the reply guys

I was leaning towards the LED as I can put it to use in fall and winter indoors

I’ll be using 7 gallon pots and I’m doing it outdoors in a polytunnel. I’ll only be doing 2 or 3 plants at a time as humidity is in the 70s and 80s here so want it well ventilated with fans running in it

Doing it more for hobby as many haven’t succeeded and get done by rot

I’ll be doing a mix of autos and photos
