I am doing a new 6 plant medical compliant personal grow. This is now my second grow. I did a 1st grow thread and eventually abandoned it, do to a serious spider mite problem. I was still able to get a decent harvest, but I was so pissed at the mites that I couldn't even continue my thread. I was far into bloom when it was discovered, and I actually had to vacume the fuckers off until I harvested. I bleached and bombed the entire room, and waited about 1.5 months to restart. I am so careful now, I keep everything clean, inspect my plants with a magnifying glass, and wipe down my floor with bleach water daily. I am determined not to let them ruin my fun this time.

So, 4 Afgoo and 2 champagne. I got the clones a few weeks ago, in small grow bags. The champagne were good size when I got them but the Afgoo were small and I was told didnt get proper nutes. I transplanted to 5 gallon buckets a week after I got them. They look great now.

4X4 room
5 gallon buckets
Happy Frog organic soil mixed with a bag of worm castings
Two inches of small rocks at the bottom of the buckets to ensure good drainage.
Liquid Pure Blend Pro (mixed with every watering)
will Start cal/mag during flower
vegging under a 400mh
I am going to start flower cycle in a few days. (Afgoo have really grown in the last few days)
Flower 2 400hps (may upgrade one to 600hps)

And here is their current condition at a little over 2 1/2 weeks from when I got them in the grow bags. I am hoping to flower in the next few days or so.

looking good brother so where did you get your afgoo from. Not many people have this strain. To me its an elite cut, I have a special pheno and will never get rid of this girl!

Im in. A friend has a pack of champagne beans she wants me to pop for her. Id love to see what to expect.

Looks good man. I would like to see how your afgoo turns out. My friends and I passed the goo around for years, I think it is gone.:confused0054: Good strain and she is bullet proof.I stopped growing her because I just don't thing she flowers well indoors.

Good luck bud!
I will keep up on you thread.

I am in NW Montana, and just got it from a local medical grower, as far as I know he carries this strain regulary.
Thanks for looking

Started flower last night, so this is day 1. I have both lights going now, and temp is about 80. A little higher then I would want, but i dont think 80 is too bad during light hours.

Well , I finally bought a 600 hps. When I fisrt started out i should have bought a 600, but I didnt know any better. Then I got a 2nd 400(used) pretty cheap
After searching tons of lights on E-Bay, I went with Digital Greehouse HTG, 600kit with xl hood. I just like their 5 year warranty, and I have had good success with an older 400 from them..

Anyway I cant wait until it gets here. I think I am going to just run the 600 only, and keep my 400's for veg or for back-up. Plus 2 400's put out a lot of heat.

Sounds like if it was me.. I would run the 600 with a "MH" for Veg and the 2 400's "HPS" for flower.

What size is your room?

Are the fixtures you bought vented hoods?

I just installed a 2800 watt system room and it runs between 78,80.
It is all about the air you move. The 78-80 degree temp is do to the plants in this room. Room size 10'X9'6"X9'

Im in a 4X4, and I have an exhaust and fans going, but with 2 lights it gets pretty hot. I could have invested in stronger exhaust, but with the new 600, I plan on running just one light, (when I run just (1) 400 temp is fine) got an XL hood, so I should be able to cover 6 plants fine. I will just save my 400 to veg in mh. Until the 600 arrives, I am using 2 400's, and keeping the grow room door ajar with a fan at the door to pull some heat out.

Sounds good bro! I hope to see some nice bud porn when your girls are flowering!

1 week flower update, here are a couple of pix. Sorry its under hps lighting, I will try to snap a few just when the lights go out.

Anyway the girls are looking awesome. The champagne on the far right is just huge, really impressed with the growth.
I had a funny incident, and actually scared myself for awhile. I have been looking hard for any sign of mites, and I have been using a 30x microscope to check leaves. Well I was certain I had discovered eggs on the underside of the leaves, I was actually going to get neem oil this morning, but after researching further, I am pretty sure I am just seeing the tricomes.

I cant wait for my new equipment to show up. I have an Easy8 Hood, so I will be able to duct the heat out,a 600watt digital greenhouse ballast, inline fan and some other accessories. Should be set up on the new system by the end of the week!

the champ is the best haze ever....you light that up in a room and everyone will want a taste....i need it!

Now on day 13 and the girls are budding up pretty nice. I am running my 600hps now along with a 400hps. So 1000 watts for six plants. I dont have my new hood in yet, so I am still leaving the door open during light hours, and the temps stay around 74. In a few days I am going to redo this whole room, with another inline fan and inline cooling hood.

Here are a few shots at 26 days, right when the lights came on. First is top to champagne, then Afgoo top. One of my Afgoos has 3 tops. Three tops branch out from the main trunk all of similar thickness.
