You can make your own, add two teaspoons of this fertilizer to each gallon of water you need and mix well.

This is interesting. I never really thought about growing on hydroponics.
The formulas in this thread work great with other mediums as well, used them for many years and was very happy. Been doing larger-scale projects and have been utilizing jadam / knf techniques exclusively for the last few years. Been thinking of going back to Jacks though.

Chronic Monster tryin to use Miracle Grow in Hydro is kinda like putting kerosene in a Ferrari>>yeah it might work but it's probably not what they really wants....
Cheap low quality fertilizer like Miracle Grow contains heavy metals and dye....
It will work but your buds will taste like crap!
It's kinda related. I've used a hydro nute made by MiracleGro to grow cherry tomatoes. The flavor wasn't affected.

I do soil so but I think what I have been using will work.

Use two Tablespoons each of Fish Emulsion and Black Strap Molasses to one gallon of water.

Good Morning :)

So I came across a very interesting thread by Sky High this morning talking about why pay more for a cutesy label and after reading some of DesertS posts on nutrient profiles, I got to thinkin.

What are large scale nurseries using in their hydroponic applications?

I really doubt any commercial scale vegetable growers are using the products we cannabis growers use,(Canna, AN, DM, Ionic, House & garden, etc...)

So In my searching I came across this product,

its a 25lb bag of Jacks Hydroponic nutrient for $36.00.

from my understanding needs to be stacked with the calcium nitrate product from jacks, which is $24.00 for a 25lb bag.
here is a little info on the products,

They also have other water soluble nutrients with different nutrient profiles as well.

This jacks brand may not be quite what we are looking for as hydroponic growers but I am sure there are other similar alternatives with different nutrient profiles.

*Has anyone used this product, or a similar product with good results?*

Thanks :passingjoint:
Bro Jacks 3-2-1 is awesome and cheap and it makes a ton of mix. I have a few nice grows using Jacks I highly recommend!

Use any flowering base (4,19,38) for example, and use equal parts Calcium nitrate and half the amount of Epsom salts. Something like 15 grams base, 15 grams cal. Nit. And 7.5 grams epsom salt per gallon of water to make a 1000ppm mix. U may need to add some cheated iron if it not already available. Add a little humic acid to this mix to make things even more available. Can be used in soil, coco, DWC, RDWC.
Works better than any bottled nutes, way cheaper.
