Thank you bro.... I am finally figuring this camera out...

Oh and I had wrote that I thought some buds were seeded..... wrong.... all is well 'cept a few nanners.

Well I feel dumb. What I thought were hermaphoditic features are, in fact buds, and not nanners.... I think. I have been picking them off and missed one only to find stigma popping out just now. Wow! I thought they were hermies but I guess not. Tell me what you think?!?! :

Nonanner

See what I mean. If you look carefully you can see the stigma protruding. I'm pretty sure these girls are just fine.....

You think I should get rid of that Tahoe OG 510.... Thats what I had been doing.... thanx for the advice, getting scissors now :)

Yea id keep the plant but would cut those grows off just to be safe .good luck dodge

Yeah thats what I thought you meant. Here is a close up of that..... whatever it is..... it has stigmas coming out so I think its a bud. Males have stamen not stigma, right. These are stigma.

It is kinda covered in this shot but even that round ball has stigma coming out.

Streeeeeetch...... ChemWreck has those fuckin monster vigor genetics..... over four feet tall with only four weeks under my home made t5 lamp bank and 20 days of 12/12 1k ultra sun, basic basic fert, Cap's gear every third week....

yeah tbh they have the most vigor out of all the strains i am currently running, they also pack the weight on early too. the one pheno i have started out with a fruity smell to it but has changed within the last week or so. i take it that it a kush smell because it's starting to smell like the chemvalley kush i did on my first grow.
your girls are looking beautiful, keep them like that. just a heads up when they start packing it on they will need support. mines started really packing it on from early, and i wasn't prepared, so now the branches are flopping all over the place.

Males have stamen not stigma, right. These are stigma.

I thought that the male stamen was equivalent to the female pistil. Can somebody explain to me the difference between a pistil and a stigma?

Ahhh, well I think I got it. The stigma is just a more specific part of the pistil. The stigma, style, ovary, and ovule are all part of the pistil. As shown here:
flower12.gif

That is a better diagram.... so that piece is clearly a hermie bud, containing both a pistil and a stamen in the same flower. (I guess this is an obvious hermie, but this is my first encounter with hermies and it has taken some time to understand exactly what I was looking at, in terms of the plant,s reproductive components.) Even though it has stigma coming out, it is now clear to me that stamen are present in the surrounding portion. These growths have been few and far between and overall plant health is good.

Still working on picture clarity.... the ChemWreck Kush is winner so far, man, no lie.... My plants seem healthy and I think that Cap's gear is one of the reasons. I am in tune with these plants, I spend alot of time dealing with them and I see how they respond to the tea.... it is positive, no doubt. The EWC is also a plus. I just dump it in my home depot tea bucket and it makes a sludge that I sort of cake around the top of the pots after I distribute the tea among the plants. My techniques are primitive.... Mostly due to lack of experience, and in small part because farming itself is primitive or primal. Just pics of ChemWreck today, Larry Leb on another day. ChemWreck Kush Day 22 12/12:

Nada..... chillin like a villian... unfortunately, smokin stress, thats all I can see for miles.

Thanx man, mother nature sure knows how to handle business.

Lookin good man. That's weird that there are pistils and stamen in the same flower! Usually a hermie plant will just have both male and female flowers, but they are seperate. You're saying that you have flowers that are male and female in the same flower? That's intense. Are they feminized seeds? I don't know if it could be a reverse male? I don't know what reverse males look like though, I have only heard of them, and they are supposedly very rare.

I dunno man... thats what I am saying. The little ball that has the arrow pointed to it has stigma coming out. I then assumed it was a bud and not a male flower. On advice, I went ahead and cut it off any way. It looked like the picture you showed which shows a pistil surrounded by stamen, but that is probably a picture of a flower that is single sex. So... ok... it's a bud. I will try to find another. Thanks for the feedback. I now see that it was a little far out to think it was a flower with male and female parts. It did have white stigma coming out, that is a fact, so it was not a male flower but a bud.... thanx again for the feedback, it truly helps the learning process.

Hey but if it was just a bud then, for the record, my ChemWreck Kush had zero hermies. I guess we'll wait and see if there is any seed.... no seed, no hermies.
