My tomatoe plants are exploding with maters. I need some fruit stuff too. What should I start with?

Can stop anywhere along I 70 as well

Always buy or get cherries with stems on
They will last way longer
Truth

So grow a cherry tree from seed?
No pretty sure one must plant a tree...
Also must plant more than one pretty sure....
Our peach trees are in third year.
we as instructed removed all fruit this year except 6 peaches per tree.
Next year remove all but 3 per tree
Then they will produce more and bigger fruit.
Its called the june drop for new trees..
Nature is wonderful...
Our orchard man knows and loves his trees..
Them cherries... OMG fantastic and a great price...
Be worthy of a trip out, pick up produce, float river..
What do you want for nothing???
A rubber biscuit???

12 31 78 closing of Winterland Ballroom...
Was there for this...

Sounds awsome ! my wife thought she would try her hand pruning our plum tree without asking me first to show her how and now it hasnt got one branch on one side that produces. not even a six inch branch was left. oy my. she did the same on a rosemary bush. cut it till nothing was left but a stump , then i had to pull it. man . hows this on e time i pulled a mj plant out of the light and set aside to crop . I went to crop the plant and it was gone baby gone . im like WTF is going on ? I was really sick so she would pull roots and bag garbage for me after i cropped them. anyway i found the plant at the bottom of a bag of waste. 4 big ass thick 17 inch colas loaded with dirt . thats how i lost my u.w. she was to efficient. lol. Man , i couldnt believe after groing for a decade she couldnt tell a fully budded done plant from a cropped plant.whew. The tree is v shaped and puts out alot of shoots while growing. i have to trim every year. Thinkin about getting one thats not so bizzy with shoots and just cut down this one. This one is old to. sucks. Its goign to be years before one side produces again. drago

If you come farm to you 30 bucks for 30 pound box. Dunno if he will deliver till peaches ready..

What's the best way to ripen peaches snd plums ? They always seem to rot in areas before the whole fruit is ripe:speechless:

Never have had that problem..We follow Lou's directions...
Could be when they were picked, how they were handled..
When the delivery comes get a box and you will like these....

As always..that's some nice lookin fruit.

IF you get around your buddy....could you see if he could offer any tips for us re our fruit trees? Been in the ground about a year..... trees are (estimate) probably 3 years old.....nursery grown stock....1-1.5 caliper. Cherries are Stella...Rainier...Bali... Apples are Jonathan (2).... Granny Smith....Sweet Sixteen....Red delicious.....Pears are Summercrisp, Asian, and one other....

Not many blooms this Spring on anything. The Bali cherries bloomed the best and there are some cherries there. Jonathans bloomed slightly.....and there are a few (6?) apples.... A couple on the Sweet 16.... but overall.... not much bloom or fruit action.

Wondering if it's fert....soil pH/etc. related....or of they are just setting roots and not focused on fruit production yet.

If you could ask him for some tips.....that'd be sweet. There are historic apple trees here that produce (we are looking at 2 trees down the way that no one ever collects the fruit and are going to go ask the owners if we can pick/have the harvest), so I know the climate will support such endeavors.

Gonna needs some smoke one of these days.... so may plan a quick trip over that way sometime soon....

You should see the girls now. Holy fuck. Just crazy. BIGGEST plants I've ever grown....bar none. Good thing I bought that chainsaw sharpener....heeehee

Come on over will feast and take care of ya
Quick river trip ???
Oh oh oh that would becawesome

Would love some river time....but the dog pack and the daily watering requirements here keep us in check for visits/extended visits >anywhere<. Would be similar to your trips over this way...smoke and run. (might check out that window/door place as well to see if there are ANY bargains there for the upcoming remodel of the shanty before just heading to the box stores)

hope all is well.....
