Cherry AK 47 @ 48-50 days

Hi Folks
Well this is round 2.My 1st initial run she had the colour and the Cherry aroma but lacked in taste and potency.I have been pumping her up with extra molases to see if I can at least improve the taste.

All I can tell you is I was given sample seeds for testing purposes from a fellow name sinsemillion about a year ago.The site he was on went down and I have not been able to find him since.So I grew them out as promised and found the one Cherry pheno.
Her aroma is a pleasant Cherry with a 7 out of 10 buzz.But for me to fully enjoy I need an 8+/-.Her taste was nothing like she smelled.To me it tasted like dirt basically.
What I would like to do is find a suitable pollen and spank her to see if we can improve the taste and high while maintaining the looks and smell.

i got some Cherry AK x Strawberry Diesel F1s i need to work with on back crossing. or im gonna grow them out and cross it again with the SD F3s i got. either way i hope i find a sweet pheno like yours looks tasty.
also i know my KKSC has a great fresh strawberry smell in flower. but it has to be dried very slow for it to keep the berry smell/scent. if i dry it like i normally do like 7-10 days then to jars the taste will go away. it has to be put in a slightly humid area and dried very slow. maybe your Cherry AK has to do the same in order to keep the scent/taste

I am about to chop her down today.I too normally dry by bud in 7-10 days.I will try to slow dry it over 2 weeks to see if it will improve the teste and smell.I'll let you know how it goes in a smoke report.
