day 24 in flower and noticed my 2 cherry pies went herm. should i keep them in my room with my larry OG and true OG plants. i went threw the plant and pulled all the male sacs off. will this work if i keep good eyes on them or just throw them outside. HELP!!!!! they are beautiful plants and would be pretty bitter to have to get rid of this strain.

Are they actual male sacks or are they yellow "nanners"? MGG

I've seen it stated that s1's can herm but idk... Maybe experienced grower with this strain from seed will chime in soon.

It's going to be near impossible to catch all the sacs. If you grow for yourself keep em going. The lower buds will have the most seeds and some of the tops will be seed free. If you're commercial your best chopping.

Yeah, grow alone then see what comes of it first... Maybe get cuts then flower alone to see if they'll do the same.

but, you never know. There are a lot of other reasons for herms. Light leaks, over nutes and stress in general.

you don't think it can carry over genetically with clone cuts. i took cuts but they have not sexed

Just a thought... Have u researched the feeding regimen for this strain? Like what they like, heavy or light feeders or if they have herm tendencies if stressed by light leaks, over feeding, etc.? This could help with clones. There are grow logs of this strain so I would def read up on it. Peace & good luck!

lesson learned

always think it's cute when people get excited about a bagseed...i usually just eat them. Once you've seeded a room you'll never love a bagseed again lol
lesson learned is right. Thankfully i caught it in time. do not want to seed my LARRY OG and TRUE OG.
